Colour INKspiration #06

Time to share our brand new Colour INKspiration challenge. This fortnight we have some lovely on trend colours to create with and l was so enjoying them, l came up with two projects...:0)

Both use the Birthday Carousel stamp set, the first features the cute "Cupcakes & Carousels" dsp stack and the second uses the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits.

Stamp Review Crew...Oh So Succulent!

We have a fun hop happening at the Stamp Review Crew and for this one it's all about the "Oh So Succulent" stamp set and thinlits.

I've gone rather dramatic with black, white & copper and created a "Mothers Day" card. I love the versatility of this set and the oh so cute elements.

Just Add Ink #351...Just Add "L"

It's time for another fun challenge over at Just Add Ink. This week want you to just add "L" elements to your projects.

This was lots of fun and l actually created two "L" projects. The first being "Lift your spirits" theme using the Lift me Up bundle and l've added some silver glimmer paper to the clouds as a silver lining.

And for my second project, l've created an easel card using the High Tide stamp set and featured the "Lighthouse" as my "L" element.

Just Add Ink #350...Sketch!

We have a new challenge happening over at Just add Ink. This week Chantell has given us a nice clean sketch to play with.

As it's my dads birthday soon or even for his fathers day, l have created a card using the "Everyday Hero" stamp set and l think the greeting is just perfect...You're never to old for a hero.

The colours are Peekaboo Peach & Basic Grey, with just a hint of the silver glimmer to give it some shine.

Colour INKspiration #05

It's hop time again over at Colour INKspiration and this week we have some pretty pastels to play with!

So much fab inspiration from the design team, so click the banner above and go take a peek and join us if you can.

I had been itching to ink up the lovely "Special Reason" set and these colours were just perfect. Lot's of layers and texture on this one, not something l normally do, but l felt this set and the colours needed some texture and depth...Pretty happy with the overall effect!

Stamp Review Crew...Rose Wonder!

Welcome to another edition of the Stamp Review Crew. For this one we are showcasing the lovely "Rose Wonder" set.

We got to choose from a couple of the floral sets for this one and thinking l had the full bundle, l chose Rose Wonder....Hmmm, well note to self, check your stamp sets first..lol As l discovered l only had the thinlits and although l was positive l'd purchased the bundle, for the life of me l couldn't find the stamps, so maybe not..:0)

Anyway, after checking it was ok to work with what l had, this was what l created. I've used a wet on wet watercolouring technique using Blushing Bride & Calypso Coral ink refills for the rose and Pear Pizzazz for the greenery.

The whole base received a very liberal dose of Wink of Stella clear which makes it so, so sparkly IRL.

Just Add Ink #349...Inspiration!

This weeks challenge over at Just Add Ink is some lovely colourful inspiration from Patrice.

For my project this week l have taken inspiration from the stacked sweets and using the "Cool Treats" bundle this is what l came up with.

I just can't get enough of this set, there are so many super cute elements which makes creating lots of fun and varied projects so easy.

The colours I've used on this one are Watermelon Wonder-Sahara Sand-Chocolate Chip-Peekaboo Peach & Pool Party.
