It is Stamp Review Crew blog hop time and for this one we are sharing projects created with Aug/Sept Sale-a-bration offerings...And l have three projects to share!

Cardstock in Night of Navy-Basic White to create a generic friend card and coordinating hinged lid giftbox with the Taylor made tags.

The second card uses some of the super cute Penguin Playmates dsp and Be Dazzling specialty paper for a cute kids birthday card.
This one also uses the Bricks & Mortar 3D embossing folder, Balloon punch and Greeting from another SAB set, Counting Sheep.
Cardstock colours are Just Jade-Fresh Freesia-Misty Moonlight.

Just Add Ink #569...Add "N"

Happy Friday Friends!

It is Just Add Ink challenge time and this week Tina has challenged us to create a project using "N" elements.

So with that in mind, l have created two gift bags. One with a "Nautical" theme for fathers day and the other with "Numbers" for a birthday gift, both using lots of Night of Navy elements as well....Think l've covered the "N" requirement!

The fathers day gift bag uses..... 2x 6"x 6" (retired) dsp scored @ 4-1/2" & 5-3/4"...rotate and score @ 1-1/2" & 5-1/4" repeat on both pieces of dsp.

Burnish all folds and fold the 1-1/2" scoreline to the outside, tape or glue to secure the side seams (1/4" scorelines) and base, then hole punch for handles and decorate!

I've used the "Sailing Home" stamps and dies to decorate the "Tailor Made Tags", very simple and sweet and a great way to use up leftover dsp.

For this one, l have again used up some retired dsp, (2x "6x6") pieces.
For the decorative elements, l have added some Pierced Blooms, Gold Glimmer numbers, a greeting from "Gorgeous Posies" (retired) and some basic rhinestones coloured with the dark Night of Navy Stampin Blend.
All popped up on a diecut from the stitched blooms dies and stitched rectangles.
You can find more of these giftbags Here in a previous post and the link to measurements/tutorial l used to create them.

Lots of fun projects from the team, so click the link above to just Add Ink and see how the rest of the team have added "N" to their projects.

Colour INKspiration...#106

Evening Friends!

Its Colour INKspiration time and this week the lovely Lou has provided this fun colour combination for us to create with.
I have to say l was a little stumped and came up with a few options, but finally decided on a very clean & simple fun fold to share.
I have once again used the watercolour image from the "Artistically Inked" stamp set in Pool Party to create a soft hilly type effect for the background and added trees diecut from the "Christmas Trees" dies in Night of Navy-Real Red-Basic White & some of the stunning "Be Dazzling" specialty paper in the current Sale-a-bration offerings.
I have also coloured some basic rhinestones using the dark Real Red Stampin Blend and added a sentiment from the "Whimsical Trees" stamp set that coordinates with Christmas tree dies.

INKspired to join in the challenge? Firstly check out the fabulous inspiration from the design team over in our facebook album and then create and load your project using the challenge colours.
You can also include Basic White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Crumb cake, Sahara Sand and Metallics.

8.1/4"x 5.13/16"

G'day Fri'yay!...Surfs Up!

Evening all!

It's time for another G'day Fri'yay challenge and this one has the theme of "Surfs Up".

Not having anything surf related in my stash, l took inspiration from Brons challenge pic and went with a beachy sunset creating the colours using the alcohol/blends technique with Gilded Leaf...added some silhouette palm trees cut with the "In the Tropics" dies and fussy cut my somewhat funny little surf board freehand.

The greeting is a partial one from the "Timeless Tropical" stamp set, which also has the palm trees. Colours used are Daffodil Delight-Pumpkin Pie-Real Red in Stampin Blends, card layers are Basic Black-Crumbcake-Basic White, with some Linen Thread, Gold twine & Gilded Gems for details.
