Just Add Ink #445...Embossing!

Good Morning stampers and welcome to another Just Add Ink challenge. This week Rochelle has challenged us to create a project using "Embossing" This could be Textured Embossing Folders-Embossing Paste-Heat Embossing...These are just a few ways l could have chosen to add embossing to my project.
I ended up using the Softly Falling embossing folder for the background detail and heat embossing for the sentiment and some sweet butterflies from Butterfly Gala, coloured with daubers and punched with the Butterfly Duet punch.

Don't forget to pop over to the challenge blog for lots more inspiration from the design team.

Stamp Review Crew...Butterfly Gala!

 Stamp Review Crew

It's Stamp Review Crew time and for this hop the crew are showcasing loads of inspiration using the lovely Butterfly Gala stamp set and punch bundle!
Love how easy this set is to create lots of different styles and of course the simplicity of a punch to cut them out makes creating a breeze!

I have created two similar cards with slight differences, both using the same colour ways.
Bermuda Bay-Granny Apple Green-Black/White.
I've also added some of the free (with a qualifying order) SAB Botanical Butterfly dsp and Ribbon and the corrugated embossing folder for some textural elements.

If you are happily hopping, you would have arrived here from the lovely Dawn Tidd blog and her fab Butterfly Gala project. But if not, you can click on the "Next" banner below to complete the loop and see all of the crews creations.

The lovely Lou Kitzelman is next on the hop, so click the banner and check out all of the crews lovely projects!

Just Add Ink #443...Choose Two!

Good Morning!

It's time for this weeks Just Add Ink challenge! For this one, Jan has challenged us to choose two of the products above to incorporate into our projects.

I have gone with "Colouring & Sequins" on one of the images from the "Birthday Statements" stamp set and added some In Colour dsp in Call Me Clover and used Stampin Blends to colour.
Mango Melody-Call Me Clover-Bashful Blue-Daffodil Delight-Mint Macaron-Highland Heather and Old Olive for the leaves.
The wonky border is not an SU product, but one l couldn't resist adding to this project.

And here is a second project not for this challenge, but one that uses the second image in this stamp set.

The rest of the design team have created some great inspiration for you, so don't forget to click on the link and go check them out!

Stamp Review Crew...A little Wild!

 Stamp Review Crew

Afternoon everyone!  It's time for another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. For this one we are showcasing the super cute and versatile "A Little Wild" stamp bundle.
I really love this set, it's great for many occasions and as you can see if you complete the hop, it can be used for so many different projects!

For my project this week, l have combined the cute lion image with some Tropical Chic dsp and altered the greeting from the "Just Because" hostess set to create a fun Valentines card for the man!

It's not that easy to see, but the Lion is popped up on a wobbler (not SU), but these are such a cute way to make your cards interactive.

If you are happily hopping you would have arrived here from the fun project and blog of  Dawn Tidd, but if not, you can click on the "NEXT" banner below to complete the hop loop and see all of the fabulous projects from the crew!

Next on the hop is the lovely & inspiring Jenny Hall

Just Add Ink #442...Sketch!

Happy Friday crafters!

We have another great challenge happening over at Just Add Ink  and this week Kim has challenged us all to create a project using this lovely sketch!
I always enjoy a good sketch challenge, as it allows lots of freedom to use whatever l like product wise, but gives me a great starting point.

For my project this week l have combined the sketch with the lovely new "Wonderful Romance" bundle and teamed it up with lots of Mossy Meadow and a smidge of Mango Melody!
I've used Stampin Blends for colouring and another fave, the Corrugated Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder...Still available on the carry over list and l've also added some of the sweet "Butterfly Elements" from the SAB freebies!
