Just Add Ink #419...Add a Twist!

Good morning everyone!

It's time for another fun challenge over at Just Add Ink and this week the lovely Kelly has challenged us to use a product in a way it was otherwise intended.
I decided to give my embossing mats a whirl and emboss the large net framelit from the Sea of Textures set on my project instead of using it to diecut as it was originally intended.

It took me awhile to get the pressure right, as every Big Shot roller tension is slightly different...I got there in the end, although this example is far from perfect, it gives you an idea and makes your framelits way more versatile.

My colours for this one are Soft Suede-Tranquil Tide & Night of Navy (although the navy was a piece of sparkly cardstock l had in my stash).

Make sure you pop over to the challenge blog and check out fab, fun twists the rest of the design team have used.

Just Add Ink #418...Colour!

Good morning everyone!

It's time to share this weeks pretty Just Add Ink colour challenge, suggested by Jo.

I've teamed the colours with the super cute and versatile Varied Vases bundle to create a sweet little 4x4 gift card. To create the lemon coloured blooms, l stamped off the Daffodil as l found it a little strong compared to the blush & mint.
I also used the larger framelit from the Stitched Labels framelits and layered it on a piece of the gorgeous new Tufted embossing folder.

The team have come up with so many pretty variations of this weeks colours, so make sure you pop over and have a peek.

Just Add Ink #417..."T"

This weeks challenge over at Just Add Ink is to add a "T" element to our projects and was suggested by Tina.

I decided to give my "Oh So Eclectic" bundle some love and used the large framelit to create a trellis effect behind my blooms.
These were stamped in Lovely Lipstick-Mango Melody & Gorgeous Grape with Granny Apple Green for the leaves.

The rest of the design team have added some fabulously creative "T" elements, so make sure you pop over to the challenge blog for heaps of inspiration.

Colour INKspiration #37

 Colour INKspiration

It's Colour INKspiration time! For this hop we have the gorgeous "Stampin Up! Brights" to play with and believe it or not it was very stressful deciding which ones l would use...lol

With the extremely chilly weather here in Melbourne, l thought a warm tropical project was in order and finally decided on various generations of "Flirty flamingo-Granny Apple Green & Coastal Cabana" and combined them my "New" fave Tropical chic bundle.
I thought these colours and products worked really well together and couldn't resist adding a Flamingo, Flamingo!

If you are happily hopping l'm sure you are loving all of the fabulous design team projects and have just arrived from the blog of Rebecca Scurr and her super cute project? If not you can click the "Next" banner below to complete the crew loop. If you'd like to join in and share your projects, you can click the link or banner above to be redirected to our Facebook page where you can request to join.

Just Add Ink #416...Sketch!

It's Just Add Ink challenge time once again and this week Patrice has given us this fun sketch with lots of lovely clean lines to play with.
I decided to have a play with the new Painted Glass bundle and Vellum dsp. I chose a piece of the vellum from the pack and coloured it with a combination of Stampin Blends and Bic markers...Just a heads up for anyone wanting them, we now have the full range of blends available...Woohoo!
The sentiments were diecut and embossed from the Sunshine Sayings stamps and framelits.

I really enjoyed playing with these products and can't wait to find the time to play some more!

Don't forget to pop over to the challenge blog for heaps of inspiration from the design team.

Stamp Review Crew...Tropical Chic!

 Stamp Review Crew

Happy Monday to you! Today over at Stamp Review Crew we are sharing our projects using the lovely "Tropical Chic" bundle.
This set has some really fun tropical elements and it works beautifully with the "Fabulous Flamingo" stamp set too.
My colours for this first card were chosen from the coordinating 6x6 dsp pack "Tropical Escape" and they are Blushing Bride-Granny Apple Green-Shaded Spruce, with a pop of Basic Black and some (retired) washi tape and rhinestones to add some sparkle. The black diecut is from the "Stitched all Around" framelits.

If you are happily hopping, you would have landed here from the lovely Natalie Lapakko and her beautiful project.
But if not, you can keep hopping by clicking the "Next" banner below or you can hit the SRC link or banner above to be redirected to the challenge blog where you will find a full list of design team links.

The colours for my second project are Granny Apple Green-Lovely Lipstick and a hint of Gold.
