Just Add Ink #494...Colour!

Happy Friday friends!

Over at Just Add Ink this week, Di has given us this lovely soft colour combination to create with.

Using the "Forever Blossoms" bundle, coloured with Stampin Blends, l have created a soft layered project for a special occasion, with a fun pop up element and popped the pretty blossoms up on a "Detailed Bands" diecut.

Lots of lovely inspiration from the design team, so make sure you pop over to the challenge blog to see how they have used this weeks challenge colours!

Colour INKspiration #72

 Colour Ink

Hey friends!

It's time for another fun challenge over at Colour INKspiration and this weeks gorgeous colours are from the lovely Rose.
I adore the bright combination and thought they were a good match for cracking open my "Lilypad Bundle", as the colours were a perfect match.
The greeting is from the "Label Me Bold" stamp set, another new fave....CAS, short and sweet from me this week.

You can see all of the design team creations over on the FB page...click on the link or banner above to be redirected and request to join.

Just Add Ink #493...Choose Two!

Good Morning!

This weeks Just Add Ink challenge from Patrice, is all about choice! We get to choose 2 of the options above to add to our projects...I love these challenges, always fun trying to decide!

I have chosen the super cute and pretty "All Dressed Up" bundle which gives me instant stitching and buttons, plus those very dainty blooms and images to colour.
The cardstock is non SU from my stash and it worked beautifully colourwise with some retired Cucumber Crush dsp and Lovely Lipstick blends...My aim this year is to use up my abundance of cardstocks and dsps that l've had for ages and are no longer current or not SU....Need to make room for "New".

The card inspiration came from one that Stampin Ups! CEO Shelly Gardner created...The fold had me intrigued, so after a few failed attempts, l finally got the sizing l was happy with.

The rest of the design team have created some great "Choose Two" projects, so make sure you stop by the challenge blog and have a look.

Just Add Ink #492...Sketch!

Happy Friday Friends!

Its Just Add Ink challenge time again and this week the lovely Jackie has given us this great sketch to create with.

I have been wanting to use my Heirloom frames and this sketch was perfect! I have teamed it with Painted Poppies, coloured with Stampin Blends in a combination of Rich Razzleberry and Mossy Meadow and popped them all up on some of the Peaceful Poppy designer paper.

Lots of fun sketch inspiration from the design team, so make sure you pop over to the challenge blog for a peek!

Just Add Ink #491...Inspiration!

Its Friday...Yay!

Today the Just Add Ink team are playing with some pretty beach inspiration. Pinks-Palm Trees & sunshine, whats not to love!

Using the Timeless Tropical bundle and dsp with the sweet flower & large leaf from Tropical Chic this is what l came up with.
I decided to pull out my sparkly embossing paste and smeared a thin layer at random on the bottom half to replicate the sand. It adds such a lovely sparkle and l forgot how fun it is to use.

My go to colours were Pretty Peacock-Kraft-Petal pink and Pink Pirouette, using my Old Olive & Soft Suede markers for the palm trees.

Stamp Review Crew...Forever Blossoms!

 Stamp review Crew

Happy Monday Friends!

Today over at Stamp Review crew we are hopping once again and for this one we are showcasing the lovely "Forever Blossoms" stamp set.

Stamp Review Crew is an international design team, from many parts of the globe. We all have a common interest in Stampin Up and the fabulous products they create.
If you are happily hopping you would have arrived here from my lovely and talented friend Lou Kitzelman from Australia and her gorgeous project.

Using the technique of no line colouring (sort of) I have used Basic Grey for the lineart and Perfect Peacock-Gold foil as my base and coloured the large floral image using Stampin Blends in Old Olive & Daffodil Delight.

Now you are off to be inspired by the creative talent of Cindy Elam, I'm sure she has something fabulous to share!
