Just Add Ink #410...Inspiration!

Check out this gorgeous, colourful inspiration we have to play with over at Just Add Ink Thanks Jo! There are so many fun elements and those colours are just so pretty!

I've gone with the "Oh so Eclectic" bundle, as it's only just landed in my playroom. I was a bit slow to warm to this set, but it really is so versatile and fun with all of the different ways you can create with it.

My colours are the "Oh So Yummy" Coastal Cabana and Flirty Flamingo which are returning to our SU colour palette...Yay for that! And I've also used Lemon Lime Twist & Peekaboo Peach (sadly retiring).

The rest of the team have created some amazing and colourful projects to help inspire, so make sure you pop over to the challenge blog for a peek and hopefully join in the JAI fun!

Stamp Review Crew...Sweet Cupcakes!

 Stamp Review Crew

It is time for a brand new Stamp Review Crew hop! For this one we are showcasing the lovely "Sweet Cupcakes" bundle. I really love this set and don't give it half the love it deserves, it's so easy to create birthday cards for both genders and any age.

For this hop l've gone another clean look with a pop of colour, using Calypso Coral in 3 generations o for the frosting and So Saffron and two generations of Peekaboo Peach for the base.

Have you just landed here from Mike and his clever use of "sweet Cupcakes" you can keep on hopping by clicking the "Next" banner below or if you get lost along the way you can click on any of the links or Stamp Review Crew banners in the design teams posts and be redirected to the SRC challenge blog.

Now you are off to visit my talented friend Kelly Kent, l'm sure she has something very inspiring to share.

Just Add Ink #409...Eclipse Technique!

Happy Friday friends! We have a new challenge starting over at Just Add Ink today and for this one Rachael has challenged us to include the "Eclipse Technique" on our projects.
I decided to give my "Beautiful Bloom" stamp a final workout before it retires, mind you, this wont be going any further than my stamp shelf as l think this is my fave of all SU large flower images, so l'll be holding onto to this beauty!
Clean and simple in design, using the SU Blends for colouring in Old Olives and Daffodil Delight...In hindsight though, l think the celebrate sentiment would look better either embossed or popped up on a little panel. Both sentiments used are from the Amazing You (sab) set and the Celebrate you thinlits.

*EDITED VERSION*   It really was bugging me, so here is the stepped up version.

*First version*

Don't forget to stop by the challenge blog and be inspired by the fun ways the rest of design team have used this technique.

Just Add Ink #408...Colour!

It's Friday once again and that means a new Just Add Ink challenge is up. This week Rochelle has given us this "Oh so pretty" colour palette to play with.

I've gone with another "Flying Home" project using a combination of Stampin Blends & Stampin Up markers for colouring. All of the Powder Pink colouring has received a liberal dose of Wink of Stella to give it loads of sparkle (not that its visible in the pics).
I've also included the pretty floral element from the SAB set "Lots of Lavender" and some retired Wild Wasabi dsp.

The rest of the design team have outdone themselves this week, with some stunning projects to get your mojo flowing, so don't forget to pop by the challenge blog and check them out!

Colour INKspiration #33

 Colour Ink

Can you believe how fast these weeks are going? It's time once again for another fun Colour INKspiration challenge!
Have you just arrived here from the lovely Rachel Palmieri and her great project? If not, you can still check it out by clicking on the link or banner above, or on her name, otherwise, if you are happily hopping click the next banner below and continue on the complete hop loop.
I decided with all the new toys on the Stampin Up! horizon, it was time to give some of my forgotten faves a bit of love. Up, Up & Away is such a great set and makes creating a more masculine style of card so simple!
Combined with this weeks Colour INK colours and a simple fun fold, it was quick and easy to put together.

Next up is Nicole Wilson and her fab project, make sure you check it out, she never disapoints!

Stamp Review Crew....Pop of Paradise!

 Stamp Review Crew

Happy Monday folks! It's time for another Stamp Review Crew hop and for this one we are showcasing the fun and tropical "Pop of Paradise" stamp set.

I had heaps of fun creating my background for this one using Lemon Lime Twist & Old Olive reinkers & rubbing alcohol...I was aiming for a lush tropical foliage look to make the brighter image colours pop.
I also added some hints of gold to give it a bit of a lift using sequins & gold foil!

If you are happily hopping, you would have landed here from the lovely Mickey Roberts and now you are off to visit the inspiring talent of Dawn Tidd.
Should you get lost along the way, just click on any of the SRC banners or links provided in the crews posts and this will redirect you to our blog hop page.

Just Add Ink #407..."O"

This week over at Just Add Ink  Tina has challenged us to add an "O" element to our projects. I have to say initially this had me stumped, but the more l thought on it, it was not so difficult to come up with something "O" and l settled on a "Onesie" with some sweet floral detail using the "Flying Home" stamp set, coloured with Stampin Blends!

The rest of the team have created some stunning projects with heaps of "O" elements to get you started, so make sure you pop over and check them out!

Apologies for the crappy photo quality, l had so much trouble getting my colours to look the same as the actual card. Overcast, wind and just plain time was a big issue for me this week, so this is as good as gets!
