Just Add Ink #565...Colour!

Good Morning all!

Over at Just Add Ink Lou has challenged us to create a project using this gorgeous colour combination.

I loved it so much, l created two! My first project uses my current obsession (the little bear from Count on me) and some new freebies from the upcoming Sale-a-Bration promotion starting on the 3rd of August, along with our new Holiday mini catalogue!

These are the Beautifully Penned dsp for the background layer & the Be Dazzling dsp for the hugs, layered on some Pale Papaya (these were diecut from the now retied Little Letters dies). The Be Dazzling dsp is absolutely gorgeous, it’s 6”x 6” sheets of champagne Glomesh, well that’s what it reminds me of as my mum had multiple purses/bags when l was young…so pretty and cuts like a breeze with your dies.

l've also layered this sweet little bear on a couple of  punched small daisy's. The bear is wearing some overalls stamped and fussy cut from the Expressions in Ink dsp and l've added some soft black shading using ink and blender pen, although its not that obvious in the pic.

For my second project, l've used the Sweet Icecream stamp set & punch to create a fun horizontal "Z" fold...Never seen a black icecream cone?
Well anyone that knows me well, knows my fave holiday destination is Bali and there you will find my fave little Gelato shop that sells Charcoal cones...so yum!
And my two go to flavours are Watermelon & Lime and Papaya & Coconut...both so refreshing and delish!

Colour INKspiration...#104

Evening everyone!

Todays post is to share this weeks Colour INKspiration  challenge put forward by the lovely Rose.

I decided it was perfect for cracking open my "Hats Off" dies. This bundle was one of the first on my wish list of new products this year, having 5 grand kids and knowing their obsession with caps, it was always going to a good investment.
This one is for #3 grandson turning 10 soon and the colours in this weeks CI challenge were perfect for a boyish cap project.
Keeping it very simple, l layered the die cuts and sentiment banner on some of the awesome Pattern Party" dsp.

The sentiments are from the "Biggest Wish & Happiest of Birthdays" sets, both are great for any theme or gender.

How cute is that itty bitty cap on the inside!

I have gone with a masculine project using the "Sailing Home & Artistically Inked" stamp sets in Balmy Blue-Just Jade-Pretty Peacock-Smoky Slate...A simple one to create and using the watercolour image from the Artistically Inked set creates such a great background...I love this stamp!

Lots of lovely "Choose Two" projects from the team, so make sure you click the link and take a look for lots of inspiration.

Just Add Ink #563...Sketch!

Good Morning!

Our Just Add Ink  challenge this week is from Jan, she has given us this great sketch to create with and l decided an interactive card would be my project!
I haven't yet invested in the "Give it a Whirl" dies, but wanted to create a similar effect using  what l have and the very cute "Count on me" stamp images and some of the Party Patterns dsp.

All images were coloured using Stampin Blends Smoky Slate-Grey Granite-Basic Black-Cinnamon Cider-Mango Melody and the sentiment is from the "Wild Cats" stamp set.
