Just Add Ink #441...Inspiration!

This week over at Just Add Ink we have a super cute Inspiration challenge happening suggested by Jo.
I absolutely loved the colours in this one, so decided to ink up and diecut some of the sweet Tea Together and Tea Time Framelits both currently available from Stampin Up! And the best part is, if you purchase $180 in products, you can get the framelits for free...Definitely a win, win! Who doesn't love freebies!

My go to colours were Mint Macaron for the teapot and l used colouring pencils (non SU) to shade, then channeling my inner Magpie, l added lots of sparkly dots with gold glimmer paper.
I also used standard colouring pencils and the baby oil technique to colour the flowers, then popped them all up on an embossed base created with the lovely new embossing folder "Dot to Dot".

Stamp Review Crew...Forever Lovely!

 Stamp Review Crew

Hello everyone! Welcome to a new Stamp Review Crew  blog hop! For this one we are showcasing a lovely new set, available in the Occasions catalogue called "Forever Lovely"  I was lucky enough to recieve this set at Melbournes OnStage event in Nov and was excited to see it pop up on our blog hop agenda.
Have you just arrived here from the fab blog and project of  Steesha Bloodhart If not you can complete the hop by clicking on the "Next" banner below to see all of the fabulous projects from the crew!

I have teamed the "Forever Lovely" bundle with Night of Navy-Delightful Dijon (retired) and some Blueberry Bushel DSP to create a pretty card and giftbox for a number of occasions.
I have also added a couple of the sweet wooden butterfly elements from the free SAB items.

Box Measurements:
5"x 81/4" Base
Score across the 81/4" length @ 11/2"- 4"- 51/2"- 8" (remaining 1/4" flap is for securing inside)
Rotate placing the 5" side at top & Score @ 11/2" all the way along the 81/4" length, cut score lines to create bottom flaps.
Diecut twice across the top (evenly spaced) using the Lovely Flowers edgelit die.

Next up on the hop is the amazingly talented Jenny Hall.

Just Add Ink #440...Blog Hop!

 Just Add Ink

Happy 2019 everyone, I hope it's a fabulous year of good health, loads of happy and much crafty goodness!

Well, it's time to kick off the Just Add Ink year! As we always do, we have team "Blog Hop" and our theme is "Something New".
This can be absolutely anything that you have acquired, but have not yet used!

With the release of the brand new Stampin Up! Occasions & Sale a Bration catalogues, l have a lovely little stash of new goodies, so deciding what to use was fun!

I have gone with the super cute, stand alone stamp set called "Flowering Desert" and combined it with some softer colours (Blushing Bride-Flirty flamingo-Mint Macaron-Old Olive & silver) to create a card with lots of prickly pretties!
I added some spiky detail to the feature cactus with a black fine liner.

If you are happily hopping along, you would have landed here from the lovely Rachael Lewsley and her fabulous project using another new SU product!
But if not, you can click on the "Next" banner below to keep on hopping and see all of the amazing projects from the JAI team. Or you can click on the link or banner above to be redirected to the JAI challenge blog where you will find all of the teams blog links!

Next up is the uber talented Rochelle Blok and her inspiring project!

Stamp Review Crew...Fabulous Flamingo!

 Stamp Review Crew

Happy 2019 everyone!...Hope its a great year for you all!

Stamp Review Crew are kicking off the new year with a fun blog hop showcasing the versatility of the "Fabulous Flamingo" stamp set!

We are an international group of like minded papercrafters that love creating with Stampin Up! products and participate in a blog hop on the first & third Monday each month, focusing on one set each hop.
This allows us to share a huge variety of styles and projects with just one stamp set and provides loads of inspiration.
You may have just landed here from my lovely and talented friend Kelly Kent but if not you can see hers and all of the crews fabulous projects by clicking on the "Next" banner below to complete the loop or you can click on the SRC link or banner above to be redirected to our blog, where you will find a full list of the participating crew.

I really love combining this set with "Tropical Chic" but for this one I've used only the images and sentiment from the Flamingo set, but l did add some of the Tropical Escape 6x6 dsp stack.
My go to colours are Flirty Flamingo-Granny Apple Green-Basic Black-Whisper White & and a hint of Gold Shimmer.

Next on the hop is the lovely Lou Kitzelman and her inspiring project!
