This week over at Just Add Ink we have a super cute Inspiration challenge happening suggested by Jo.
I absolutely loved the colours in this one, so decided to ink up and diecut some of the sweet Tea Together and Tea Time Framelits both currently available from Stampin Up! And the best part is, if you purchase $180 in products, you can get the framelits for free...Definitely a win, win! Who doesn't love freebies!
My go to colours were Mint Macaron for the teapot and l used colouring pencils (non SU) to shade, then channeling my inner Magpie, l added lots of sparkly dots with gold glimmer paper.
I also used standard colouring pencils and the baby oil technique to colour the flowers, then popped them all up on an embossed base created with the lovely new embossing folder "Dot to Dot".

Beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Nikki! I love the gold spots on the teapot and your colouring is gorgeous. I'm off to check out the baby oil technique you speak of....
