Just Add Ink #574...Choose Two!

Happy Friday friends!

Just Add Ink has a brand new challenge and this week we get to Choose Two! For my project l have gone with Silhouettes & Sunshine!

To create my background, l used the blending brushes in Cajun Craze-Pumpkin Pie-Bumblebee to create a sunshiny glow and the floral images from the Shaded Summer set for the Silhouettes...They were stamped in Basic Black and although they appear faded, are quite bold IRL.

The sentiment is from the Artistically Inked set, embossed with white EP on basic Black and to finish off, l've added some of the gorgeous Be Dazzling specialty paper beneath both the sentiment and Brilliant Wings diecuts.

The rest of the design team have created some fabulous choose two projects, so click the link and head over to the challenge blog for a peek at those!

Stamp Review Crew....SAB#2 Aug/Sept

Evening friends!

It's Stamp Review Crew blog hop time and for this one we are sharing loads of fabulous projects created with the current Sale-a-bration offerings!

I have created two very different projects, both using a similar colour palette. One is lots of diecutting and layers, the other simple DSP colouring.

If you are happily hopping, you would have arrived here from the fabulously creative Bronwyn Eastley and l'm sure she had something amazing to share!
But if you've just landed here, you can follow the hop and see all of the wonderful crew projects by clicking the link above or "Next" banner below.
Stamp Review Crew are a wonderfully talented group of Stampin Up! demonstrators from across the globe that come together twice a month to share lots of fabulous ideas using Stampin Up! products.

For my first project, l have combined the sweet little sheep from the "Counting Sheep" stamp set and the gorgeous floral dies from the "Summer Shadows" set.
These were diecut from a piece of vellum that used the alcohol/stampin blends technique in the 2021/23 In colours.
The base dsp is from the "Pattern Party" hostess pack and buried in behind is some of the gorgeous "Be Dazzling" specialty paper and some Fresh Freesia In Col open weave ribbon.

For the second one, l have used a piece of the "Beautifully Penned" DSP coloured with the 2021/23 In Colour Stampin Blends.
A strip of the "Be Dazzling" specialty paper and a diecut greeting from the "Floral Gallery" dies.
This one was so quick and simple to make!

Now you are off to be inspired by Betty Traciak's fabulous SAB project.

Just Add Ink #573...Sketch!

Happy Friday everyone!

This weeks fabulous & fun sketch over at  Just Add Ink was put forward by Jan and was really lovely to create with!

I have flipped the sketch and used the large "Sending Hugs" image, coloured with Stampin Blends in Pink Pirouette-Old Olive-Pumpkin Pie-Cajun Craze-Mossy Meadow. Adding a double layer diecut of the hugs in Pumpkin Pie & Cajun Craze, layered on a strip of Blushing Bride dsp. I have added some of the gorgeous Elegant Faceted Gems for sparkle....Sweet and simple!

Lots of lovely projects from the design team, so make sure you click the link and pop over to their blogs for a peek at their creations!

Colour INKspiration ...#108

Evening all!

This weeks Colour INKspiration challenge is from the lovely Rose and its certainly one to lift the spirits with its gorgeous happy colours!

I've gone very simple in design using the "In Symmetry" stamp set, coloured with Stampin Write markers direct to rubber!
I've teamed it up with some crumbcake cardstock and Linen Thread. The embossing was created with the Forever Greenery embossing folder as l thought it worked really well with the leaf style in this set.

INKspired to join in the challenge? Firstly check out the fabulous inspiration from the design team over in our facebook album and then create and load your project using the challenge colours.
You can also include Basic White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Crumb cake, Sahara Sand and Metallics.

Just Add Ink #572...Inspiration!

Pic Credit: https://www.pinterest.com.au/pin/534028468318613906/

Good Morning friends!

Its Just Add Ink challenge time and this week we have some flowery inspiration to create with. I've been wanting to have a go at creating a "Pinwheel" fold and thought this would work well with the "In Symmetry" stamp set and inspiration.
The colours l've used are Pool Party-Polished Pink-Fresh Freesia-Old Olive on Basic White cardstock. Some Linen Thread and Basic Rhinestones to finish off. The little hearts are Retired SU punches.

This was so much fun to make and l think l will definitely have a go at some other sizes. This one is basically a standard A6 and will fit into a standard envelope for posting....I adapted the measurements  and created to use our standard AU cardstock. See below for those!

I created this card for a lovely friend that sent me a special delivery recently, that was very much appreciated during this slow and frustrating Covid climate...230 days of lockdown definitely takes it toll and she new how much l needed the contents, hence the greetings!

MEASUREMENTS USED:
Base for the box/tube: 1x 4-1/4" x 4-1/8"
Score with the 4-1/4" at the top @ 1"-2"-3"-4"
This leaves 1/4" to glue or tape to create the internal cube.
4x 2-3/4" x 4-1/8" for the main panels
4x 2-1/2" x 3-7/8" for the popped up decorated panels (these can be DSP if desired)
I created all my decorative panels first, then popped them onto the base panels, then secured those to the cube...very easy to construct and fun!

Lots of pretties from the design team, so click the link and take a look for some lovely inspiration.
