Colour INKspiration...#152

Evening all!

Over at Colour INKspiration  this week, Bron has chosen this beautiful colour palette to create with.

My project for this one uses the By My Side stamps, Wanted to Say Dies & Birds Eye View stamps for the balloons.
Images are coloured with Stampin Blends, with the skintone of Crumbcake (an extra allowed colour). These are all popped upon a Deckled Rectangle Base and some Linen Thread to tie the balloons together.
Sweet and simple and another quick one to create!

Just Add Ink #671...Inspiration!

Happy Friday friends!

It's time for a new challenge over at Just Add Ink  and for this one Kerry has given us this lovely inspiration to create our projects with.

I just love the moody greens and decided it was perfect for creating a Christmas Card using the lovely NEW "Christmas Classics" bundle.

For this one l stuck to Mossy Meadow using tone on tone and adding Gold Glimmer and Gold thread (non SU) for sparkle.

The Gold Glimmer rectangle below the greeting was die cut with the retired stitched rectangle dies.

This one was so quick and easy, perfect for mass producing, exactly what l love for Christmas cards.

The design team have made some beautiful projects, so if you haven't already, click the link for loads of lovely inspiration.

Colour INKspiration...#151

Evening all!

This weeks Colour INKspiration challenge colours are from Cathy and they are just dreamy!

I recently purchased the "Sea Turtle" stamps and thought l would give them a go with these colours. I used a combination of blending brushes and daubers to add the inks, trying to create a lifelike colour.

Earlier this year l had the opportunity to swim with these beautiful creatures and it was definitely a bucket list moment. To be able to walk directly off the beach and have them swim around you was just breathtaking and l cant wait to do it again.

To create the background, l inked up an acrylic block with Balmy Blue, spritzed with water and stamped directly to cardstock...Such a fun way to add colour without harsh lines.

To finish off l went with a simple Linen Thread knot and added some of the sweet Loose Silver Sequins to emulate some bubbles and diluted some of the inks and white for a speckled effect on the turtle.

I decided not to add a greeting to this one, as l'm not sure for what occasion l will use it, but it can easily be added at a later time.

Just Add Ink #669...Colour!

Happy Friday friends!

Over at Just Add Ink  Annie has given us this lovely colour combination to create with and it was fun!

Having just purchased the Trucking along bundle, l decided that would be my choice for this one. It's perfect for a more masculine card, of which l often find a little daunting to create.

Trucks were stamped in one of each of the colours and the palm tree beach toys were coloured using the Stampin Blends...I've added one of my favourite birthdays greetings from the Artistically Inked stamp set, l love the simple font and size of this one.

Lots of lovely projects from the team, so click the link above for a look at those.
