Just Add Ink #383...Add Cake!

Happy Friday everyone! It's Just Add Ink challenge time again and this week the lovely Chloe has challenged us to "Add Cake" to our projects.
With so many girly birthdays at the minute, the timing was perfect for making a feminine cupcake card.
I combined the "Sweet Cupcake" stamp set and framelits with "Graceful Garden" in Powder pink, Sweet Sugarplum, Bermuda Bay and Pear Pizzazz.

Don't forget to go checkout the rest of the design teams beautiful cake creations.

Colour INKspiration #20

 Colour INKspiration

Welcome to a new Colour INKspiration hop! I'm in love with this rich colour palette and had heaps of ideas for using them.
I finally decided to go with Christmas, as the silly season is fast approaching and l am determined to be organised this year.
I have used a combination of the stitched framelits, Carols of Christmas and the greeting from Santas Sleigh to create a very clean Christmas card with a central focal point, keeping all of the colours clustered together...Not your traditional Christmas colours, but l rather like the end result.

You may have just arrived from the lovely Julia Quinn, but if not, you can continue to hop all the way around by clicking the next banner below or click the Colour Ink banner or link above and you can start the hop there.

Now you are off to be inspired by the talents of  my lovely friend Kim Badelt

Just Add Ink #382...Colour!

Gosh the weeks are flying by! It's Friday again and another week closer to the silly season...Eeek!

Being Friday means we have a new challenge over at Just Add Ink and Patrice has given us this gorgeous colour combination to play with.

I have used a combination of the (retired) Christmas Greetings thinlits, Pretty Pines thinlits and the hostess set Seasons of Whimsy to create a Christmas card in an alternate colourway.
To colour the baubles l used inkpads and aquapainter and added lots of silver details for sparkle and a silver gel pen from my stash.

The design team have combined the colours to create some awesome projects, so pop over and be inspired!

Just Add Ink #381...Choose Two!

We have a brand new challenge happening over at Just Add Ink and this week Jan has challenged us to add two of the elements above to our projects.

I've gone with Sequins and colouring on my project and combined them with the "Graceful Garden" and the "Petal Garden" DSP stack to create a pretty birthday card for a special friend!

Don't forget to pop by the challenge blog and check out the rest of the design teams fabulous projects.

Colour INKspiration #19

 Colour INKspiration

It's hop time again over at Colour INKspiration  and l'm loving the colour palette this week.
Did you just hop here from the uber talented Jackie Aitken, wasn't her project just gorgeous!
To see the rest of the crews projects, just keep on hopping by clicking the "Next" banner below or hit the Colour Ink banner or link above to be redirected to the Facebook page.
I had been wanting to play with the Graceful Garden images for awhile and these colours seemed perfect. I went with the "NO LINE" colouring technique using my markers on the outlines on some Shimmer cardstock and coloured with inkpads and Aqua pen....Such a fun way to create a softer coloured effect.

Next on the hop is Rebecca Scurr with her gorgeous Metallic project.
