Just Add Ink #576...Moving Elements!

Happy Friday friends!

Over at Just Add Ink we have a fun new challenge suggested by Tina/Kelly. They have challenged us to incorporate a moving element on our projects this week and if you are unsure what that could be, click on the link above and head over to the challenge blog to check out all of the fabulously creative ideas from the design team.

My product choices to feature this week are the "Wild Cats" bundle and "counting Sheep" SAB set...Where does that feature you may ask? Well, if you have this set and haven't mounted it yet, the little tummy pieces from the sheep (the bits you would normally throw away) are what l have used to create the leopard print background in Blushing Bride....See the pic below!

Now onto my "Moving Element"...A couple of years ago l purchased some "Wobblers" on etsy/ebay, cant actually remember which, but they are readily available from both. These are the little white coils pictured in the image below. They are self adhesive and add a really fun element to any project.

My big cat is stamped in Bumblebee & Delightful Dijon (retired) and the foliage is Evening Evergreen & Soft Succulent. I've also added some of the 20/22 In-Colour Enamel Dots in Cinnamon Cider!

Thanks for stopping by!
All supplies used are Stampin Up! Unless noted above.

Colour INKspiration...#109

Over at Colour INKspiration we have a fabulous new colour palette to play with, suggested by Lou and this one is so soft, earthy and pretty!

I have pulled out the gorgeous "Love of Leaves" stamps and "Stitched leaves" dies for this one and l just love the soft autumn tones.
Leaves are stamped in a combination of the colours and shading was added using sponge daubers straight over the inked stamp before stamping, for a  multi coloured effect.

The sentiment is from the "Gorgeous Posies" stamps, with a linen thread detail and some Cinnamon Cider In Colour Enamel Dots to finish!

Thanks for stopping by!

Just Add Ink #575...Colour!

Good Morning Friends!

It is Just Add Ink challenge day and this week Patrice has challenged us to create a project using this beautiful colour combination...It's so pretty!

For my project this week, l have used the sweet "Flowers of Friendship" bundle to create a very simple card with pops of the challenge colours on crisp white.
The flowers and foliage were coloured with Stampin Blends in Polished Pink and Soft Succulent and l've incorporated the Gold using the Gilded Gems & a Brilliant Wings butterfly!

The rest of the design team have created some lovely projects to inspire, so click the link and head on over to the challenge blog for lots of pretty inspiration.

Stamp Review Crew...Natures Harvest!

Evening all! It's Stamp Review Crew hop time and this one is all about the gorgeous Natures Harvest bundle!
Both of my projects use various elements from this suite and l love that they are the same basic design, but just vertical and horizontal orientations.

If you are happily hopping, you would have arrived here from the fabulously creative Heidi Baks and l'm sure she had something amazing to share!
But if you've just landed here, you can follow the hop and see all of the wonderful crew projects by clicking the link above or "Next" banner below.
Stamp Review Crew are a wonderfully talented group of Stampin Up! demonstrators from across the globe that come together twice a month to share lots of fabulous ideas using Stampin Up! products.

This one is all about the dies and uses one side of a 4"x 4" piece of the Harvest Meadow dsp cut in half on the angle and layered onto a 4.1/8"x 4.1/8" piece of Crumbcake cardstock.
I have gone with Basic White cardbases for both, adding Gold accents of Twine & Brushed Metallic Dots to this one.

This one is all about the stamped images, coloured with Stampin Blends in Soft Succulent-Mango Melody-Calypso Coral-Crumbcake and uses the reverse side of the dsp, with Linen Thread & Matt Decorative Dots.
