Colour INKspiration...#211

Happy Wednesday friends!

Over at Colour INKspiration challenges this week Leonie has given us these pretty colours to create with and l love that there are 3 of the New 26/28 In colours to play with.

I decided to go bold with this weeks project and used another new fave the Heirloom Boutique dies. I do love a good size floral to play with.

Cardbase and panel are Misty Moonlight cardstock, to add depth to the panel l have used a blending brush and Misty Moonlight inkpad and watered down ink to add speckles.

Blooms are two of each size, diecut in Bubble Bath & Hydrangea Hue, with ink blending added and a gold foil center. Leaves are Peaceful Pine, blended with the inkpad and blending brush.

The small birthday sentiment is a partial stamp from the Words of Beauty set and the Wishes is from the Words of Wishes dies in Vellum & Gold foil.

To add a little more sparkle I've added some Loose Gold sequins and a tiny 26/28 In Colour butterfly in Peaceful Pine to finish off.

Just Add Ink #787...Choose Two or More!

 

It's Just Add Ink challenge time and for this one Tristan has asked us to choose two or more of the above options to add to our projects!

Not having a lot of animal choices, l have gone with the cute Notes of Spring stamp set so that covered the animals, l have also used the Perennial Lavender dsp as my second choice and to finish off l have added a Linen Thread bow as my third.

It's simple and sweet and also uses the Arched Wishes dies in Lost Lagoon & Basic White and some of the new 26/28 In Colour Butterflies.

I went with a generic greeting from the Delicate Framing stamp set, as l decided it needed a big bold sentiment.

Hey friends!

It's time to share the new Colour INKspiration challenge and this one is all about showcasing the gorgeous new 26/28 In Colours from Stampin Up! Love, love, love these colours and look forward to playing with them some more.

So for my project, I chose to create a large Scalloped cardbase using the new largest  Scalloped Bloom die and a top layer in the ever so pretty Barely Blush cardstock, embossed with the Perfectly Plaid embossing folder.

Florals are from the Artisan Sketched Garden dsp and coloured with stampin Blends in Barely Blush-Golden Glow-Peaceful Pine and fussy cut. 

Extra foliage in Peaceful Pine is an oldie,using the bird builder punch.

Sentiment panel is also from the Scalloped Bloom dies and the sentiment is from another new set the Flowering Meadow.

Some sweet 26/28 In Colour Butterflies in Hydrangea Hue and a linen thread bow to finish.

Just Add Ink #786...Polka Dots!

 

Happy Friday friends!

It's time for a new Just Add Ink challenge and this week Kerry chose Polka Dots for us to create with!

So the fun Dotted Circles embossing folder was my choice and l've paired it up with some fussy cut vases from the gorgeous Artisan Sketched Garden dsp, coloured with stampin blends in Granny Apple green-Hydrangia Hue-Petunia Pop-Seaside spray.

Greeting is from the Say Something Ephemera pack and l've finished off with a Linen Thread bow & some Purple Fine Shimmer Gems all mounted on two Spotlight on Nature diecuts...Sweet, simple &fun to create!

Colour INKspiration....#209

Evening friends! It is Colour INKspiration challenge time and for this one Rose has provided a gorgeous combination, definitely a different mix for me.

I wanted to make the Gorgeous Grape really standout, so the perfect big floral was the Layers of Beauty bundle. I will be sad to see this one go, but its definitely a keeper in my stash.

Foliage is Garden Green and Cloud Cover.

Cardbase is Basic Beige embossed with the Exposed Brick folder, l love the subtle rustic detail of this one.

To add a newbie to this project, l went with the fab new Words of Wishes dies, using only the first letter of the Happy Birthday dies, in Basic Black and finished off with some black faceted dots(retired).

Our Just Add Ink challenge this week is from Tristan and its such a great sketch to create with!

I've gone fairly clean with this one, choosing to focus on the Floral image in Timid Tiger, Daffodil Delight & Old Olive with a spotlight technique using the Fragrant Layers stamp set and a die from the retired Stitched Shapes die set...Speckles are from the Painterly Pears stamps and the Sunny Day Iridescent dots finished it off perfectly.

Colour INKspiration #208

It's Colour INKspiration challenge time and for this one we are celebrating the 24/26 In colours as sad to say they are retiring. These were definitely some of my fave In Colours from Stampin Up!

Using all 5 colours and some Crumbcake, I've gone with a fun cleanish beachy birthday for my project. These colours were perfect for cracking open my New "Rolling Waves" bundle.

Lots of stamping off, water flicking for a mottley look and some Wink of Stella for sparkle, although that is not easy to see in the pics. 

To add some extra detail, l've added some 24/26 In Colour flat pearls and a little Gold thread.

I'm definitely looking forward to playing with this bundle again, as the first try is always a learning curve for me until l get use to all the elements.

Just Add Ink #783...Colour & Inspiration!

 

 

Happy Friday friends! 

Over at Just Add Ink we have a fun Colour & Inspiration challenge happening and my project for this one uses mainly the colours, but the Lovely Blossom diecut worked to add some circle elements (think Donuts).

The colours l chose are Stampin Up! Early Espresso-Pretty in Pink-Crumbcake-White. Stamped images are from the Lovely Blossom set and the Pretty in Pink designer paper and flat pearls are from the 24/26  In Colour products...To finish off, l have added some twine detail using the Gold Twisted Thread and greeting is also from the Lovely Blossom stamps.
