Just Add Ink #550...Colour!

Happy Friday friends!

We have a great colour challenge happening over at Just Add Ink this week and lots of lovely projects from the team to share. If you would like to see what they have created, click on the link above to be redirected to the challenge blog and come and play if you’re inspired.

As my Sweet Strawberry bundle is still new to me, l decided to ink it up and create a “Sweet” birthday card with this weeks colours, as they looked like the perfect combo for a strawberry creation to me...Sweet and simple in style and that greeting just makes me smile.

Just Add Ink #549...Choose Two!

Happy Friday Friends!

Over at  Just Add Ink   Kelly has challenged us to add two of the options to our projects and as l couldn't decide, l made two projects using a combination of "Petals & Leaves" on the pink one and "Petals & Feathers on the green.

I recently had a lovely catchup with one of my friends and class ladies and she had set the theme of "Gatefolds" to decorate as l chose, putting out all sorts of bits and pieces to colour, diecut and fussy cut. It was so lovely not to be the one setting the projects and it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon...Thanks Rob!

This one uses the retired SAB "Paper Blooms" dsp & the "A Touch of Ink" stamp set, coloured with Rococo Rose-Old Olive-Seaside Spray blends.

And this one uses the SAB "Berry Delightful" dsp "A Touch of Ink & Berry Blessings" stamp sets.
Coloured with Shaded Spruce-Poppy Parade-Granny Apple Green blends.

Stamp Review Crew...Many Messages!

Hello everyone and Happy Easter!

It's time for a new hop over at Stamp Review Crew and we are sharing our projects that incorporate the "Many Messages" bundle.

For my project, l have combined it with the Sweet Strawberry bundle to create a pretty celebration card that could be used for a variety of occasions.
My go to colours were Blushing Bride & Old Olive with black accents, using some of the True Love dsp.

If you are happily hopping, you would have arrived here from the fabulously creative Cindy Elam and l'm sure she had something fabulous to share!
But if you've just landed here, you can follow the hop and see all of the wonderful crew projects by clicking the link above or "Next" banner below.

Just Add Ink #548...Sketch!

Morning Friends!

This week Jan has given us this fun sketch to create with over at Just Add Ink and having not used my Simply Succulents set enough, l decided to revisit this bundle and create a simple card, leaving it sentiment free so l can add one to suit the occasion when needed.

I used a basic white cardbase, layered with a piece of the SAB Ombre dsp and added the diecut layer on top...Love the effect this gives!
The banners and pot are Cinnamon Cider and the succulents are Mossy Meadow-Granny apple Green-Old Olive Stampin Blends.

Just Add Ink #547...Inspiration!

Good Morning everyone!

Its Just Add Ink challenge time and this week Kim has given us this lovely Easter inspiration. Although its Easter, you can see by the design team projects if you click on the link, that it really is any theme using the inspiration as a starting point.

I decided to go Easter and create some cute packaging, although the butterfly one could be any occasion.
For that one l have used the sweet Butterfly Bouquet" dsp (sold out) and for the other, the "Kangaroo & Company" stamp set and created in Just Jade and coloured with Stampin Blends in Gray Granite.

These little gift boxes/bags are a decent size and only use 2x6"x6" cardstock or DSP for the main base. I came across this cute design by Heidi in the UK and had to have a go at making one...well, so far l'm up to 6 l think. I will be using these for my little people for Easter gifts, filling them with some winter socks, Easter eggs and a movie voucher, they are the perfect size!

Magnet closures are not Stampin Up! These were purchased on Ebay.
