Over at Colour INKspiration challenges we have a gorgeous new colour combo from Jan and l loved creating for this one!

I've used the Arched Wishes dies to create a double layer, diecutting the top one with the pretty "Lovely Blossoms" die to add a subtle detail.

Using the Petals of Beauty dies, l diecut some foliage in Basic Gray and Granny Apple Green, the added some stamped images from the Petals of Beauty stamps in Berry Burst and Granny Apple Green, keeping it all fresh and simple. Finishing off with some tiny basic rhinestones for sparkle!

Just Add Ink #780...Stencils & Dies!

 

Happy Friday friends!

This weeks challenge over at Just Add Ink is on repeat! It's such a good challenge option, as it allows for the addition of pretty much any theme, style, colours and products!

I am besotted by the "Petals of Beauty" bundle, it has some great images and dies and the coordinating products like the "Brushed with Beauty" DSP and the "Pearls of Beauty" make creating so simple.

The colours l've used are Calypso Coral-Crumbcake-Very Vanilla-Early Espresso-Old Olive & Mossy Meadow.

I pulled out one of my old stencils from the Sweet Soiree pack and added some detail with Crumbcake ink & a blending brush. It's soft & subtle, but there.

Sentiment is from the "Lovely Arrangements" stamps inked in Early Espresso. To finish off l have added some of the pretty "Pearls of Beauty" embellishments and a sweet little Linen Thread bow.

It's time for a fun NEW challenge over at Colour INKspiration and this one is from Lou...Cake-Flowers & pretty colours will always appeal.

Having purchased the New Simply Beautiful bundle, l wanted to create the large diecut flower to see how it looks size wise....It's definitely large, almost too much so for a card for me, so some pretty packaging it is!

So l could add in the Lost Lagoon colour, l riffled through my DSP stash and found this simple pattern in the Everyday Happiness pack (retired).

Sentiment is stamped in Lost Lagoon using the Delicate Framing stamps. To finish of l shredded some of the lovely Petal Pink braided Trim to create the bow.

Just Add Ink #779...Sketch!

Happy challenge day friends!

Our Just Add Ink challenge for this one is from Jan and it's such a great simple sketch that creating was so easy!

I've used the gorgeous "Lovely Arrangements" bundle and kept it crisp and clean. Added some simple texture with the Mini Corrugated embossing folder.

Colours are Secret Sea-Old Olive-Basic White.

Time to invest in some White embossing powder also. As with my previous project, it also is not performing as l'd like, although the white is better than the silver.

I've also added some of the pretty "Moody Pallete" glossy dots to finish off.

It's a NEW Colour INKspiration challenge week and Monica has given us some lovely Blue hues for this one!

As l often struggle to create without a green tone, l decided a more masculine theme was going to work for this one, as l have 3 Teen Boy birthdays on the horizon.

Products used were the fun "Gears & Text" stamps, perfect for creating fun backgrounds and the "Words of Beauty" bundle for the sentiment.

To finish off l have added some of the Rainbow Dots (retired) but the colour worked.

Not loving the Silver embossed sentiment, as l have noticed recently that some of my older embossing powders are just not performing...Time to invest in some new ones l think.

It's time for a brand new challenge over at Just Add Ink and this one is all about "Colour & Inspiration".

I've gone with the colours on this one, using Stampin Up! Lost Lagoon-Pool Party-Cajun Craze-Crushed Curry-So Saffron-Crumbcake.

I couldn't resist inking up the pretty new Petals of Beauty stamp bundle & the Words of Beauty Dies to create floral birthday card.

I added colour to the leaves using a blender brush and Lost Lagoon inkpad. Extra elements are the Pearls of beauty & Gold Twine bow to finish.

Just Add Ink #777...BLOG HOP!

 

Welcome back to our first Just Add Ink challenge for 2026!

As we always do, we are kicking of the year with a full team "Blog Hop" with the theme of "Add Something Seasonal" for this year.

If you are happily hopping, you would have arrived here from my lovely and talented friend Narelle and her fabulous seasonal project.

As its the middle of Summer here and that generally means beach hangs and finding all sorts of creatures in the shoreline and rock pools.

So the Ocean Friends bundle and Friends of the ocean dsp were an easy choice. Hints of Bermuda Bay & Lemon Lime Twist cardstocks, with the Gold Open Weave trim and some Sunny Day Iridescent dots to add some sparkle.

The sentiment is from the Birthday Celebration stamp set.

Welcome back to our first Colour INKspiration challenge for 2026.  Lou has provided some lovely colours to create with and you'll have 4 weeks to join in the fun.

I wanted to combine the colours with some new supplies and have used the lovely subtle "Lasting  Linen" BG stamp in crumbcake, with a new fave floral, the "Fragrant Layer" stamp set and popped them all on 2 of the Party Banner diecuts.

Finished it all off with a linen thread bow & some 24-26 In Col shimmer dots.
