Just Add Ink #578...Sketch!

Good Morning everyone!

This week over at Just Add Ink Narelle has challenged us to use this fun sketch to create our projects!

I have used the lovely Flowers of Friendship bundle to create a pretty birthday card with lots of sparkle & texture!

The blends colours l have used on this one are Soft Succulent-Evening Evergreen-Fresh Freesia-Pale Papaya-Mango Melody-Flirty Flamingo-Polished Pink.

The Basic White layer is embossed with the Painted Texture 3D folder, layered on some Misty Moonlight and a Crumbcake base.
I've also added as part of the sketch a Vellum Doily, some Basic Rhinestone centers and gave the whole thing a spritz of Champagne Shimmer for some sparkle. The greeting is from Peaceful Moments and stamped on a Everyday Label punch.

Lots of fun and creative ideas from the team, so make sure you click the JAI link above and go take a look at how they've used the sketch.

Colour INKspiration...#110

Evening everyone!

Colour INKspiration challenges are back with a lovely new colour combination from Liz.

I decided to challenge myself to create "Christmas" using the colours and the gorgeous "Merriest Moments" bundle on a Mini Paper Pumpkin box and l think is it is not too bad for alternate Christmas colours.
The Shaded Spruce DSP is from a retired Regals stack. I've added a couple of the Basic Rhinestones and a whole lot of Champagne Shimmer for sparkle.
The blooms were inked in Pale Papaya and l added the center shading in Cajun Craze using a sponge dauber direct to the inked image before stamping. The leaves are first and second generation stamping in Shaded Spruce.

INKspired to join in the challenge? Firstly check out the fabulous inspiration from the design team over in our facebook album and then create and load your project using the challenge colours.
You can also include Basic White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Crumb cake, Sahara Sand and Metallics.

Just Add Ink #577...Inspiration!

Pic credit: https://acidcow.com/pics/46557-beautiful-photos-of-rain-55-pics.html

Happy Friday friends!

Over at Just Add Ink we have some fabulous inspiration from Kim.

I have inked up and coloured the main image from the Simply Succulent bundle and coloured it using Stampin blends in Fresh Freesia-Just Jade-Rococo Rose-Daffodil Delight-Rich Razzleberry-Pumpkin Pie-Soft Sea Foam-Granny Apple Green-Pretty Peacock-Mango Melody.

The dsp layer is from the Pattern Party stack and l've added some Matt Decorative dots and in keeping with the raindrops on the inspiration, l have added water droplets using my fine tip glue pen.

Lots of lovely projects from the design team, so don't forget to click the link, pop over to the challenge blog for lots of inspiration.

Stamp Review Crew...Birch Background!

Evening all!

The Stamp Review Crew are hopping and for this one we are revisiting the fabulous "Birch Background" stamp.
This was a must have in my stash, as l love how versatile it is and the simplicity. For my project, l have used Misty Moonlight cardstock and inkpad to create the background. I inked up the image using Versamark and clear EP and shaded the edges with Misty Moonlight on a blending brush to create a glow effect in the centre area.
I really wanted the focus to be on the Birch stamp, so kept my additions minimal, adding a couple of pots of foliage from the "Plentiful Plants" bundle in Cinnamon Cider & Misty Moonlight, with foliage in Old Olive & Mossy Meadow.
To finish off l have added a Linen Thread bow & some 20/22 In Colour enamel dots.

If you are happily hopping, you would have arrived here from the fabulously creative Cindy Elam and l'm sure she had something amazing to share!
But if you've just landed here, you can follow the hop and see all of the wonderful crew projects by clicking the link above or "Next" banner below.
Stamp Review Crew are a wonderfully talented group of Stampin Up! demonstrators from across the globe that come together twice a month to share lots of fabulous ideas using Stampin Up! products.

Next up is Mike Funke and l'm sure he will have something fabulous and fun to show you!
