Just Add Ink #744...Choose Two!

 

It's NEW challenge time over at Just Add Ink and this week Diane has challenged us to ate a project using two of the options above.

I've chosen Rainbow, being the cupcake frosting and added Shimmer to that and the balloons and also some In Colour Shimmer Gems.

Cupcake base is Crumbcake Stampin Blends, frosting and balloons are Lost Lagoon-Summer Splash-Petunia Pop-Peach Pie Stampin Blends.

I've used the Arched Wishes stamp set for the greeting in lost Lagoon and some Everyday Happiness dsp for the base layer...to finish off l've added a bow of Gold Twisted Thread.

Colour INKspiration #184.

 

Evening!

It is time for a new Colour INKspiration  challenge and this one is from Alisa. Its bold and fun and it was an enjoyable combination to create with!

I've pulled out a new bundle for this one, the gorgeous "Thankful Garden"...it comes with stamps-dies-masks, making it a simple and quick way to create.

The background is another newbie...the "Painted Stripes" background stamp. I added Azure Afternoon" ink to this using a blender brush to create a softer stripe.

Images were coloured using the Daffodil Delight & Poppy Parade inks and applied with a blender brush using the masks for the blooms and a combination of Garden Green & Mossy Meadow for the leaves.

After inking and diecutting, l fussy cut the flowers and leaves to create individual pieces to create the design l wanted.

To finish off l have added some of the sweet little Brushed Brass Butterflies.

Good Morning!

At Just Add Ink this week, we have some fun tropical inspiration to create with and l couldn't resist inking up the "Ocean Friends" bundle using the tropical vibe and colours to create my project.

I love that this bundle and the Soft Waves embossing folder are a simple way to add details and interest to a project.

Seaweeds and coral are a mix of Shy Shamrock-Granny Apple Green-Old Olive cardstocks and the crabs are stamped in varying strengths of Calypso Coral & Pecan Pie.

I've added a linen thread bow and some Glossy Enamel dots to create some bubbles.

Just Add Ink #740...Colour!

 

Good Morning Friends!

Over at Just Add Ink this week, we have a fabulous new colour challenge from Rochelle and these colours were very different from my usual go to, but fun to create with!

For this one l dug out an older set to create with, the Enduring Beauty bundle...This one has stamps-dies-masks and makes creating simple and fun.

I used my blending brushes to colour the image using the masks. Flowers were Pretty in Pink & Cherry Cobbler, leaves are Night of navy and ended up quite dark, but l do like the bold look.

Sentiment is from the pretty Delightful Wishes bundle and all layered up on a panel embossed with my new fave folder...Plaster Painting 3D one. DSP strip is from the Mediterranean Blooms pack.
