Just Add Ink #701...Inspiration!

Happy Friday Friends!

And that means a brand new challenge over at Just Add Ink and this one is all about inspiration!

I love an inspiration challenge, it allows me to use any of the colours or elements to inspire my project. On this one l have taken the colours- florals and hints of gold and teamed them with a brand new Stampin Up! bundle..."Layers of Beauty" and it is a beauty! 

I'm a sucker for any bundles containing masks and this one has 5 layering masks and is so simple to use...Love that it contains Stamps-Dies-Masks, it is such a quick way to create, but gives a real "WOW" when finished!

The colours l chose are Calypso Coral & Daffodil Delight for the flowers and Old Olive for the foliage. These were all applied to the black stamped image using the Stampin Up! blending brushes in varying strengths.

Sentiment was created with one from the set using versamark and White embossing powder...Not happy with the coverage, its old and l think time for some fresh powder.

Once l had coloured and diecut the image, l diecut a second in gold foil and cut through both at the same time, off setting them to create a fine gold frame effect.
