Just Add Ink #659...Colour!

 

Morning Friends!

This weeks lovely colour challenge at Just Add Ink is from Lou...Love these colours together and enjoyed pulling out one of my older sets for this one!

I decided to make another fancy fold that l created for Colour Inkspiration Challenges recently...You can fine that one Here! 

The most common name for this fold is the "FLYING SEAGULL" or Accordian Center Panel card.

To make it the first time, l googled Flying Seagull card fold and came across a few great You Tube videos, but this one from Lisa Curcio was easy to follow.  I used her basic steps exactly the same, but being in the Sth Pacific market, our cardstocks are a different size. 

So after watching the video, l changed up the measurements to suit. You can find the ones l used for this project below.

Foliage & Florals are from the Meadow Dies, coloured with Stampin Blends & Markers.

Bottled Happiness is a bundle l hadn't used in awhile, so it was great to pull it out and ink it up...Love that it's a punch!

Side panel dsp is some of the retired Whale of a Time pack...It was the only dsp in Pretty Peacock l could find in my stash.

To finish off l added a greeting from Dainty Delight on a banner from the Meadow Dies & attached with some of my fave Linen Thread & a few Adhesive Backed Gems.

Cardstock Measurements:

WINGS:

2x 5-7/8" x 6-1/2" (Pretty Peacock)

Score across the 6-1/2" length @ 1-1/2"  2-3/4"  4-5/8" on both pieces

WING PANELS:

2x 5-7/8" x 1-1/4" (Whale of a Time dsp Retired) 

PANEL: 

1x 3-3/4" x 5-7/8" (Basic White)

CARD:

11-1/4" x 3-1/2" (Pretty Peacock) 

Score @ 5-5/8"

Colour INKspiration...#146

It's Colour INKspiration challenge time and for this one Nicole has given us a gorgeous combination to create with.

For this one l have pulled an unloved (So far) card kit called "Sentimental Rose" and the stamps are just so pretty!

I inked up with Berry Burst on Berry Burst cardstock for the bottom bloom and then Blackberry Bliss on basic white for the top one. Leaves are stamped in Granny Apple Green on both Granny Apple Green cardstock and basic white....Then l got to fussy cutting!

The sentiment is Versamark & White E/P on Blackberry Bliss and layered on some Pretty Peacock cardstock. The base panel is Pretty Peacock embossed with the stripe folder from the Stripes & Spots combo...Basic Pearls & Gold twine bow and done.

Just Add Ink #657...Sketch!

 

Good Morning Friends!

It is time for a new Just Add Ink challenge! For this one we have a simple sketch to create with and CAS was my go too!

As l generally do when creating a masculine card, l kept it simple, using the "Brewed for You" bundle and some of the lovely new 23-25 In Colour dsp & Adhesive backed solid gems in Boho Blue.
