Just Add Ink #594...Masking!

Happy Friday friends!

It's Just Add Ink challenge time and this weeks fun challenge is from Kerry. She has challenged us to create using "Masking".

I've used the Daffodil Daydream stamp set and stamped the base in Misty Moonlight for interest, The Daffodils were coloured with Stampin Blends in Daffodil Delight (of course) and Old Olive.

TECHNIQUE & PRODUCT:

1.3/8" & 1.1/2" Circle punches.
Seasonal decorative masks
Masking/Washi Tape
Blending brushes
Large sticky notes.

1- Stamp your image onto your cardbase and also onto a large Sticky Note, then fussy cut the sticky note close to the lineart creating your mask.
2- Position your image sticky note mask over your stamped image.
3- Using another sticky note, punch or diecut your desired shape to create your 2nd mask. ( l created two sizes using the circle punches noted above)
4- Position your 2nd mask where you want your stencilled area.
5- Choose a stencil/mask (finer patterns work best) over the shape mask and inking up a blender brush, apply to the unmasked area...Repeat by moving your shape mask (middle one) and your patterned stencil/mask to another area for multiple inked areas.

Thanks for stopping by!
All supplies used are Stampin Up!
