Happy 2022 friends!

Just Add Ink are back and we are celebrating the New Year with a full design team blog hop. Our theme for this one is summer! If you get lost, take a detour or find a road block, just click on the JAI link above and you will find a full list of hop links on the challenge post.

Summer is definitely my absolute fave season. I love less layers, sunny days, the beach and colourful blooms!

For my project, l have used the gorgeous "Blossoms in Bloom" bundle, taking inspiration from the icy poles for colour! I have used my Stampin Write Markers direct to rubber, channeling my inner Shelli with a huff of breath to moisten the ink for stamping...Love the textured effect this technique gives! With the heat and humidity we currently have in Melb, my garden is a riot of butterflies and winged things...So of course adding a pretty butterfly was a given!

The colours l've used are Melon Mambo-Daffodil Delight-Pumpkin Pie-Granny Apple Green & Highland Heather on Basic White and a Coastal Cabana base. A little bling for the small bloom centers using the 21/23 In Colour Jewels...Sweet, Simple and such pretty colours!

If you are happily hopping, the next on the loop is the lovely and so talented Lou Kitzelman No doubt her fabulous project will inspire!

Thanks for stopping by!
All supplies used are Stampin Up!

  8. The multi colour flowers on your card remember me the zinnia colours on my grandmother garden. There were always a lot of butterflies too.
