Social Stamping...Birthdays in Isolation!

Evening everyone!

Its hop time again at Social Stamping and this week Kelly has set the theme to "Birthdays in Isolation".

It is perfect for our family at the minute, as we have had a huge birthday week of 4 milestones and 3 others. My lovely dad turned 80, my sister inlaws both had 50th & 60th and my gorgeous niece celebrated her 18th...Such big milestones to celebrate in ISO and certainly ones they will remember!

It was really hard not to see my dad, but due to my step-mum being highly compromised health wise, it just wasn't a good idea sadly! But we will be having some massive celebrations once its safe to do so.

My ISO birthday share is the coordinating cake/card l made my niece...It was fun to do something special to help her celebrate and cool that l got to use Stampin Up! products to decorate!...It kept me busy for a few hours and she loved it!

Black-White and Rose Gold was the colour requirement and l was pretty happy with the result. Gluten Free, tripple layer Vanilla cakes, with white choc buttercream....Not too bad with what l had on hand and she loved it! Mind you, l'm guessing there were a few black tongues after they ate it!

The buttercream was a lot whiter than the pics show, but l totally forgot to take pics until it was just about to be collected and the light was fading by then.

You can find a full list of hoppers by clicking on the Social Stamping link above!

Next up is Odette Kermode and her fun ISO Birthday share!

  2. How special to be able to create a card & cake for your nieces special birthday & how perfect they turned out!! My youngest turned 18 last Wednesday, cannot wait to celebrate with him (at a pub or somewhere fun when things get back to normal) & I hope you enjoy your family celebrations when this is all over.
