Good Morning!
Its that time again and this weeks Just Add Ink challenge is this fun sketch from Tina.
I had so much fun creating this project, figuring out a way to incorporate the triangular-ish mountain peaks.
I finally decided on the largest of the stitched rectangles and diecut some cardstock in Terracotta Tile and Petal Pink, attaching them at angles over a "Tufted" embossed cardbase.

Then l used my Stampin Blends in Perfect Peacock-Calypso Coral-Pool party-Petal Pink & Old Olive to colour the sweet birds again, from the "Free as a Bird" bundle, adding the happy sentiment from "Well Said" diecut in Perfect Peacock to finish it off.
Lots of very cool sketch cards from the team, so make sure you click on the link and pop over to the JAI challenge blog to take a peek!
Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteI'm loving this card Nikki. The blend of Terracotta Tile and Petal Pink works really well for contrast with the embossed background. Your colouring on the birds is super beautiful. I love the soft feminine look of this card. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely, Nikki! The Tufted folder works so well with the angles of the sketch.
ReplyDeleteLovley card, Nikki. You inspired me to use an EB for my own card. I never seem to remember to pull them out. Thanks! Creative Blessings!
