Just Add Ink #278....Inspiration!

Yay!.....Spring has finally arrived and l for one am extremely happy to see some sunshine, although it's still a tad chilly but l can see summer on the horizon, so l'm one happy camper..:0)
This week over at Just Add Ink  we have a lovely spring inspired challenge, l love the colourful display of blooms and thoroughly enjoyed creating this weeks design team project!

I used the Watercolour Wash background stamp and inked it up with some Daffodil Delight and spritzed with water before stamping.
I also used the same technique on the large grunge image from Gorgeous Grunge in Pumpkin Pie & Melon Mambo and used the same colours with Garden in Bloom image.

The design team have created some fabulous projects with the inspiration, so don't forget to pop over and check them out!

"Thanks for stopping by"
All supplies used are Stampin Up!

  3. Oh wow Nikki! Your wonderful background really does look like you've water coloured it by hand and I adore your use of the flowers and touch of Grunge too. So beautiful! xo

  5. WOW!!! the watercolor background is perfect! I love the idea of spritzing the image to give it a much more "watercolor" feel to the stamped images.

  7. Wow Nikki, this card matching the photo perfectly!! Beautiful water colouring, especially that background. Its was a very balmy 17 degrees here today and so sunny I had to wear a t-shirt, so warmer weather is definitely on the way...thank goodness!!
