Just Add Ink #112.....

"HAPPY EASTER" everyone and welcome to a new Just Add Ink challenge..
This week we have a very pretty colour challenge for you.......
I really enjoyed this colour combo and it was perfect for playing with my gorgeous new "Tea Shoppe" set from Stampin up, available in the current Autumn/Winter Mini.

I stamped the large Teacup using Versamark and clear E/P onto Very Vanilla cardstock and heat embossed it, then  used the emboss resist technique to apply the Pink Pirouette to the flower motif, it looks all shiny and china like IRL, but was hard to capture in a pic.

The Design Team have some lovely inspiration for you, so pop over and check them out, hopefully after the Easter festivities are over you can find the time to join us.

"Thanks for stopping by & Keep safe"

  1. Nikki this is gorgeous I love it. The doiley (or Die) at the back is so pretty , love the flowers and the stitching around the edge just sets it off, great work hugs Elaine

  2. Nikki I just love that doily die you've used and the tea cup is very sweet. Seam binding to top it all off and you've made a beautiful card.

  3. Nikki I like how you have your flowers falling out of this teacup, but I still think of those photos that can look like a couple of different images when I look at this card, and wait for me to see a face in it. LOL Have a safe and happy Easter. ♥

  4. Nikki this is the first card I've seen using the new Tea Shoppe - beautiful. Love the little flowers, the zig zag stitching, that gorgeous little tag...such a beaut card!

  5. Your design is oozing "olde world" charm Nikki. It's delightful! The tiny sprigs of pearls are so sweet & dainty, & the doily background is gorgeous. :)

  6. This is very pretty Nikki. Great idea to use emboss resist on the tea cup, I bet it looks even better in real life. Love the ribbon and tag on the handle and your pretty flowers too.

  7. A flowered teacup filled with flowers - gorgeous idea done gorgeously! Love the embossed resist idea too!! Have a good Easter.

  8. Just gorgeous! Love the delicate flowers tumbling out of the teacup, and the doily die cut is fabulous. This is a really beautiful card, Nikki.

  9. So 'chic', so vintage ... love the doily background, beautiful flowers and pearls adorning your fabulous tea cup. That set is on my wish list.
