With Christmas only a few days away and this being the last JAI challenge for 2011...Our challenge is to just add "Wrapping or Pretty Packaging"....From the talented Delys Cram, being the silly season I'm sure you all have some beautiful gifts wrapped up ready to give family and friends, so this weeks challenge is perfect for sharing your style of gift giving.........or you can choose any theme for packaging as l have done, with a "Birthday" gift box.........
I love this box, as it hold a decent size gift and is lovely to decorate, as there is plenty of surface area to embellish, here's a close up of my paper rosette and flower embellishment.
The DT have some great packaging ideas to share with you, pop over to the JAI Blog and check them out if you haven't already.
Well that's it for me for JAI 2011, a very big "THANK YOU" to all of you that have left lovely encouraging comments throughout the year, l am very appreciative of each and every one and incredibly humbled by your lovely words.
It is with much sadness we say goodbye to Bronwyn Eastley & Tania Gould from our Design Team, both of these girls have been a joy to get to know and have provided myself and the rest of the DT with many laughs and so much "Inspiration" and best of all their friendship....l wish you both much "Happiness" wherever life takes you. xxx.....But don't think this is the last you will hear from me..:0)

Our Challenge to you this week is to just add "Sparkle" from the lovely Patrice Easton, adding sparkle is such an easy thing to do, especially being this time of year, you can add it to Christmas cards, Birthday cards just about anything really.

Just Add Ink #97
HoHoHo.....Bah Humbug and all that, wheres your Christmas Spirit, well mine has officially taken a leave of absence this week, l really don't want to play anymore!!!.....but I'll still have the pressies thanks...smile!
OK, enough of my Pre-Christmas grump and onto what your here for, this week over at Just Add Ink we have a very pretty Inspiration pic for you, our lovely Jo Eades came across these very pretty and I'm sure very expensive little purse's and thought they would be perfect for a challenge.
Once again with the very simple, but l really like it, makes a nice change from the stock standard colours l usually reach for, l also played around with a second one, but decided l liked the first one best!
Well, I'm off to grumble a little more as l prepare to venture into the land of tinsel and crappy service and hit my first big shopping centre for a day of Christmas shopping!.....Here's hoping l only need go there once!
The rest of the DT have some brilliant projects to share with you as usual, so pop on over to the Just Add Ink Blog, if you haven't already and Oooh & Ahhh a little and play along if you can, we love seeing your interpretations of our challenges.
"Thanks for listening to my rant, keep safe & have a lovely weekend"

Pretty cute..huh! Now as I'm still playing catch-up on my Christmas cards and l have the perfect person to give this to, as she has just re-done her Christmas theme this year and has a gorgeous White tree and lots of those big shiny baubles in these exact colours, l figured l could give it a go and tick another one of my list!

Just Add Tania....JAI #96
Good Morning....We have a fun challenge over at Just Add Ink this week, we have been Challenged to Just Add fellow DT member Tania Gould
I love Tania's work, she has such a flair for gorgeous "Vintage Inspired" projects and let me just say choosing a case project wasn't easy...but after much deliberation, l finally settled on this beautiful card to case.....
I loved the simple clean lines and pretty colour combo Tania has used and decided to pretty much case it exactly.....but, l ended up making 2 cards, the first one was as l intended and pretty much a straight case, that was until l decided to use the Stampin Up formula of +ONE and took it that one step further and ran it partially through the bigshot using the Square Lattice embossing folder.
Well, you know when you do something and regret it straight away, that was me!
Definitely thinking that the added Embossing was overkill and did nothing to enhance Tania's gorgeous card in anyway!
So, l decided a very simple clean version was the way to go and a much better show of the lovely new Stampin-Up DSP called Spice Cake....my new absolute fave!
"Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful festive weekend"
Supplies: Card 1
SpiceCake DSP
Pick a Petal & Sincere Salutations stamp sets
Soft Suede ink
Pear Pizzazz Button, Linen Thread.
1/2" Circle punch & corner Rounder
Window sheet & Timber Brown Staz-On.
Card 2: above supplies +
Pool Party & Soft Suede Cardstocks
Square Lattice Emb/folder
Soft Suede Marker.
