Just Add Ink #727...Sketch!

Happy Friday friends!

It's Just Add Ink  challenge time and this week Jo has given us a fun sketch to create with. I love a good sketch challenge, you can use whatever products, colours or theme you like as long as you include the sketch elements.

As Christmas is fast approaching, l decided to go with some festive packaging and created a giftbox using the Greetings of the Season stamps - Golden Greenery bundle - Everyday Details dies.
the box is a (Non SU) diecut l've had kicking around my craftroom for forever, so decided to put it together for this one.
Colours are Lemon Lime Twist-Real Red-Old Olive-Mossy Meadow and Ballerina.
I've embossed the front box base using the Fun Pattern emb/fold and added Red Rhinestones & Twine with a Gold library Clip & Gold Ribbon.

Lots of fun sketch projects from the team, so click the link for a peek at those and join in the challenge fun if you can.

Thanks for stopping by!

Just Add Ink #725...Stencilling!

Happy Friday Friends!

It's time for a fun new Just Add Ink  challenge and this one was suggested by Lou and she has challenged us to create a project using stencils.

I couldn't resist pulling out my unloved retired "Abundant Beauty" masks to create a pretty floral birthday card.

This was the perfect project to have another play with some of the 24/26 In colours from Stampin Up!

Colours are Pretty in Pink-Shy Shamrock-Old Olive-Peach Pie. All florals and large leaves were applied using blending brushes and dots and fine foliage from the Golden Greenery stamps were direct stamping.

Greeting is from another newbie the Everyday Greetings stamps.

Evening all!

It's time for a new Colour INKspiration challenge and this one will  Runs for 3wks and was suggested by Lou. Such a lovely bold colour palette and it was lovely to create with these colours.

I decided on a clean style for this one, letting the colours pop and created a simple friend card that could be used for a variety of occasions.

The floral image is from the "Spotlight on Nature" stamps and the big bold greeting is from the Gnomes for Summer stamp set.

Image was coloured using Stampin Blends in Petunia Pop & Granny Apple Green and to add some extra detail, l've added some of the teeny Blooming Pearls in gold.

Just Add Ink #723...Choose Two!

Happy Friday friends!

Over at Just Add Ink  this week Kim has set the challenge of "Choose Two" options from the three above.

I decided on Trees & Circles for my project using the Painted Trees folder & some retired dots (mini circles) to make a start on some Christmas cards!

The pretty pink panel is the gorgeous Ballerina cardstock & ink, its such a pretty shade of pink and is a great addition to Stampin Up! as its two tone, slightly darker on the other side and when lightly sanded it shows a white core.

Sentiment is a retired one from the Greetings from Santa stamp set and stamped and layered in Real Red and additional layer is a strip of the Festive Glimmer paper.

Gold twine is a retired one, but a similar product is returning very soon...Yay!

Lots of lovely design team projects, so if you haven't seen them already, click the link for more challenge inspiration.
