Just Add Ink #734...BLOG HOP!

Happy Friday friends and a very "Happy New Year" to you all!

Over at  Just Add Ink  we are kick starting our 2025 challenge schedule with fun full design team "Blog Hop"...and there are some gorgeous projects to inspire!

The theme for this one is "Something New" and with the arrival of a new Stampin Up! mini catalogue and Sale a bration offerings, it was hard to choose which one to use.

After some deliberation, l decided on the gorgeous and colourful "Friends of the Ocean" suite of products and l'm in love!
I've used the lovely Soft Waves 3D embossing folder to give the background panel some love and then cracked open the "Friends of the Ocean" dsp and used the coordinating dies to cut out some of the bright fun crustaceans'.
I've also used the dies with Summer Splash and Lemon Lime Twist cardstocks to diecut the reeds & corals...loving the detail on these.
Before adding the crab & lobster, l cut a piece of the pretty Gold Open Weave Trim to add in between and give it some extra detail along with some of the Sunny Days Iridescent dots to finish off.
The greeting is from the Saying Something Ephemera pack.

You may have just landed here from the creative blog of the talented Lou Kitzelman and her oh so pretty project, so to keep hopping and see all of the gorgeous design team projects, click the "Next" link to pop over to see what the lovely Chantell Randall has instore.

Evening all & a very Happy New year to you!

Welcome back to the our first Colour INKspiration challenge for 2025!  Brenton has chosen the colours and this one runs for 5wks, so loads of time to join us!

I couldnt resist cracking open some new goodies for this one, using the lovely "Happy Hibiscus" bundle...LOVE the embossing folder detail!

Cardbase is Basic Beige, Deckled Circles are Basic White & Pecan Pie. I've also used some Pecan in the diecut leaves and to colour some Basic Pearls to match.

Flowers are 1st & 2nd generation stamping in Petunia Pop, with Adhesive backed Swirl dots as centers. The birthday sentiment is from the Unbounded Love stamps, in Pecan Pie.

To finish off, l've added a Linen Thread bow and some teeny leaves in Gold Glimmer, cut using the "Brand New" Heart Shaped dies available from the new Sale-a-bration offerings.

Just Add Ink #733...Choose Two!

Merry Christmas all!

This is the last Just Add Ink challenge for 2024 with a fitting "choose Two" theme from Kerry.

Thanks so much to everyone that stopped by my blog and left comments, it is very much appreciated. I hope you all have a fabulous festive season and a very happy, healthy & safe 2025.

My project...not having much in the way of these options, l fossicked through some oldies from Stampin Up and found this cute stamp set "Signs of Santa", so l have teamed it up with a variety of old and new to create a fun little festive scene.

Tree is from the "In the Pines" stamp bundle, also retired and dsp is "Seasons of Green" from the current SU mini.
I've used Stampin blends in Neutrals-Pretty in Pink-Poppy Parade-Smoky Slate to colour Santa & his sidekick.
Tree is stamped in Old Olive and decorated with some punched baubles using the Festive Glimmer Paper.
Stars are Gold glimmer, punched using the retired Star border punch.

Lots of fun projects from the team, so click the link for a peek at those if you haven't already.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Colour INKspiration #179

Happy Festive season everyone!

This Colour INKspiration challenge is the last one for 2024 and will run for 4 weeks...so plenty of time to join in and share once the Christmas crazy is done.
Thanks to all that participated in our challenges this year and l look forward to seeing your fab creations in 2025.

Monica has given us this beautiful colour combination to create with for this one and it is ever so pretty!
Another non-Christmas project from me, as Dec is full of birthdays and these colours are perfect for this recipient.
Florals are from the Country Flowers bundle and coloured with Stampin Blends and yes, the small flowers use Real Red shading, so it is there, even though its not obvious.
Card base is embossed with the Exposed Brick Emb folder and panels are from the Greetings of the Season dies.
To finish off, l have added some Balmy Blue Bakers Twine from the 3 pack and some of the Rainbow Adhesive Dots.

Wishing you all a very safe and enjoyable Christmas & a fabulous 2025! xx
