Just Add Ink #558...Sketch!

 

Morning All!

This week over at Just Add Ink,  Kim has challenged us to create with this fun sketch.
I really enjoyed this one, as it gave me the opportunity to ink up this fabulous big cat image from the Wild Cats bundle.

This suite was high on my wish list when the new catalogue came out and it didn't disappoint IRL. For this one l have gone with a "Black Panther" theme rather than the leopards & tigers for a different look...Evening Evergreen & Soft Succulent for the foliage and some of the gorgeous dsp as a layer. 

There are so many great patterns on this paper, my preference are the subtle all over pattern sides and of course there are always the faves in each pack and in this one the leopard print in greens is mine.

FUN TIP!

When adding your fave dsp as a bottom layer, diecut a shape that can then be used on a later project!

This works exceptionally well when flat taping to a cardbase, as support for your top panel is not required.

Colour INKspiration...#101

Its Colour INKspiration time and this week Monica has provided these pretty pastels to inspire and create with.
My go to for this one was the Shaded Summer stamps, a sentiment from the Biggest Wish set and a delicate diecut from the Artistic dies.

As you can see in the bottom pic, it took me a few goes to decided on which sentiment colour combo l liked best and the winner was "Highland Heather & Evening Evergreen" and l now have multiple sentiments ready to add to other projects!

Stamp Review Crew...Whiskey Business!

Good Morning everyone!

It's Stamp Review Crew time and for this one we are sharing lots of fun inspiration using the "Whiskey Business" stamps.

This is such a great set for masculine cards, well any gender really. But my intent when purchasing this set was to create cards for the guys in our family.
For my project this week l combined the images from Whiskey Business with a NEW set called Plentiful Plants...Loving this combo and will no doubt be combining them again.

The colours l have used are Misty Moonlight-Old Olive & Mossy Meadow inkpads and Cinnamon Cider blends for colouring my whiskey.

Good morning friends!

 Over at Just Add Ink this week, Rachael has provided some gorgeous rustic inspiration for us to create with.

It’s organic, rustic and earthy...right up my alley! And was perfect for cracking open my lovely new Plentiful Plants bundle.

This was one suite l couldn’t resist, being a Macrame/plant lover and having so many gorgeous elements, l know l will give it plenty of love.

The colours l have created with are Cinnamon Cider-Crumbcake-Evening Evergreen-Mossy Meadow-Old Olive-Basic Black & Basic White.

Just Add Ink #556...Slimline Cards!

 

Happy Friday friends!    

It’s Just Add Ink  challenge time and this week the lovely Lou has challenged us to create a slimline card. This was such a fun challenge, as this is a card shape l very rarely create, l thoroughly enjoyed combining it with another new set called “Shaded Summer” and a sentiment from “Biggest Wish”.

To colour my stamped florals and foliage, l used my Stampin Write Markers direct to rubber in all 5 of the new In Colours, a technique l love, but often forget to use. It gives such a lovely soft result.
