Evening all! 

Over at Colour INKspiration Jacque has given us this great colour combination to create with this week and after a little pondering, l decided to team them with my new Stampin Up! Meadow dies to create a quick and simple card...these will definitely be a popular addition to my crafting.

Sadly we are still without our NBN, so editing and adding a watermark was done pairing my iPhone and iPad, not easy or ideal, so apologies for them not being the best quality and for a short blog post from me.

Just Add Ink #553...Sketch!

 

Good morning!

It is Just Add Ink  challenge time and this week Kelly has challenged us to create using her fun sketch.

This was definitely a fun one to use and as you can see l have once again used the Hand Penned suite and coloured with Stampin Blends.

Just Add Ink #552...Inspiration!

Good Morning everyone!

Our challenge this week over at  Just Add Ink is some pretty inspiration and l just love the yellow roses and that gorgeous yellow door!

So with those being the elements that caught my eye, l thought it was perfect timing to crack open my brand new "Hand Penned" bundle, available on the 4th of May and combined it with another new product, the "Ombre gift bags" in our gorgeous new In Colours, to create some sweet gift bag thank you projects!

The Pale Papaya gift bag was coloured using Stampin Blends and the Evening Evergreen one was using the coordinating stamp images and inkpads.

I do love a set that offers multiple colouring options, as it can be used to relax and colour or quick and easy stamping to produce a similar effect.

Colour INKspiration...#98

Evening all!

It is time for a new Colour INKspiration challenge and this lovely challenge combination of colours is from Jan...They are such a pretty palette and were so easy to create with.

I decided to give my "Handrawn Blooms" a run. Very happy to see this lovely set carry over. The line art images are so fine and dainty and are a pleasure to colour using my Stampin Blends in the challenge colours and a Pear Pizazz marker. I have also added some extra detail to the pot from the "Simply Succulents" set using the fine tip of my Basic Black marker.

Just Add Ink #551...3D

 

Morning! 

It's Just Add Ink  new challenge day and this week Rachael has challenged us to create a 3D project and l have to say this is one of my fave things to create!

I actually have 2 projects to share, one being some cute packaging and the other a decor piece.

My mini artwork uses Stampin Blends & Isopropyl Alcohol on vellum with some Gilded Leafing. I am in love with this simple technique and will definitely be adding some panels to my cardmaking...watch this space!

The colours of Stampin Blends on this one are Dark Basic Black-Dark Old Olive-Dark Soft Suede. I wanted to keep it earthy to match my decor, as l have the perfect spot to display it.

My second project:

As l'm trying to use up some of my always enlarging DSP stash, l decided to create a giftbox using the lovely SAB DSP "Flower & Field" and combined it with my Daisy & Leaf (retired) punches.

This is such a great size giftbox, it uses a 12"x12" piece of cardstock to begin with and was very simple to create. I came across this excellent step by step tutorial from Susan and thought it was perfect for creating this weeks Just Add Ink challenge project.

As you can see by this next pic, in comparison to our SU inkpads, its a great size!
