Just Add Ink #195.....

We have a very pretty colour challenge/inspiration pic for you this week over at Just Add Ink......

You can use the colours only or combine with inspiration from the pic

I  kept my card very soft and on the clean side, keeping the colours as the main focus, but also using the flowers to replicate the rosettes. l really like using the Naturals White card stock and paired with these pretty colours, l just love the soft textured look it provides.
Plus it was extra nice to take a break from Christmas, even if l do sound a little like the "Grinch"..:0)

Christmas Joy.....

Hey Stampers....Just popped in to share another Christmas card made with the Circle card framelits, this ones very simple, pink and sparkly! I felt the need to venture into some non-traditional colours, although probably not everyone's cup of tea, it really is pretty IRL..:0)

Festive flurry & Ornament wine tags....

Evening... I've just been scrolling through my pics folder and came across a couple of projects l had yet to share. 

These were a class sample from a couple of months back and are such a cool way to add a bit of decoration to a wine gift, l was kind of thinking "His & Hers" when l made them and as such they were perfect to take as a couples gift for a Christmas party we went to last weekend.

Just Add Ink #194...

A JOLLY HO, HO, HO to you all......

As you can probably guess, our challenge over at Just Add Ink for this week, is to  "Just Add SANTA"...pretty stress free and Lot's of fun..:0)

I must say l really don't have a lot of "SANTA" images, but managed to dig this one up from forever ago, l think it's a stampendous image that l purchased pre Stampin Up and thought that size wise, it was perfect to use with the awesome new circle card thinlits from SU.

I also used some heat puffy liquid applique for his cap, also unearthed during my search for Santa....it's amazing what l found that l'd forgotten about....So many cool bit's & pieces..:0)

Just Add Ink #193...

It's time to share this weeks "Inspiration" challenge over at Just Add Ink and as it's all about "Stars" what better stamp to use than the gorgeous "Christmas Star" from Stampin Up. I kept to a very simple colour palette of Midnight Muse, Silver & White and dug out various sizes of star punches.

Christmas Collection Baubles....

Over at Just Add Ink this week we have a colour challenge using this combination, you can see my design team submission in the post below and while I'm not sure they are Christmas appropriate, l thought l would give them a go on a Christmas card and this is the result....What do you think? I'm not convinced, but it was fun to try and l do like the idea of using the Mosaic Madness punch for the ends of the sentiment panel. (Another Pinterest Inspired idea).

Just Add Ink #192....

Happy Friday people!...I'm back and refreshed and ready to tackle the silly season. Where did l go you may ask? Well DH and l have been soaking up the sunshine and relaxing in Bali for the last 3 weeks....Bliss!

We had a lovely time catching up with friends and visiting the learning center in Northern Bali where we sponsor 3 beautiful kids and without a doubt, it is always the absolute highlight, yet, very humbling to visit and spend time with them and the staff.

So now it's time to share this weeks Just Add Ink Colour Challenge!

 I enjoyed making this Easel card, as it's been ages since l made one and l thought it would work well with the images in the Backyard Basics set and the colours seemed to work pretty well too!

Five Way Flower....

Afternoon Stampers!....Just popped in to share a second card made with this weeks Just Add Ink sketch! I loved the layout of this one and thought l'd ink up my pretty "Five Way Flower" and have another play with it.

It's pretty CAS and so cool that this stamp coordinates with all of the Stampin Up Scallop punches, it makes it really quick to make a card! I used a combination of Crisp Canteloupe & Calypso Coral, stamping off the first impression of each to create a graduation of colour.
