Color Throwdown #130 and Pals Paper Arts #82....

Seems l'm on a roll this morning, 2 posts and it's still morning.......
I'm really enjoying combining challenges, l like the idea of using a colour, a sketch and a technique challenge when making cards, it gives me Inspiration and boundaries and makes me think outside the square.
So this card was made using 2 challenges the first was Color throwdown and the second was Pals Paper Arts  which was "CAS-Elements of Style-Scallops"

Supplies:
Time well spent (retired) stamp set.
Tangerine tango-Pretty in pink and So saffron DSP, White C/stock.
Tangerine tango-Pretty in pink-So saffron and Choc chip Markers.
Aqua painter-Dazzling diamonds-2-way glue pen.
So saffron grosgrain ribbon and Scallop border punch (non-SU).

COLOUR Q #73 and STAMPIN ROYALTY #60 Challenges.....

This weeks ColourQ Challenge has a great palette to work with, so l combined it with the "Sketch" challenge at Stampin Royalty, l decided l needed to use some older stamp sets that are gathering dust and SU "Echoes of Kindness" was perfect for both of these challenges, there was some lovely inspiration samples to get me started, click on the links to have a peek....

Inkspirations Challenge #58

Good Morning.......

This little mans Birthday card was inspired by this weeks challenge #58 at Inkspirations, l love the colours and it was perfect for the card l needed to make, it's not to often l make any age male cards that I'm happy with and l couldn't resist pulling out my SU markers for this one.......

JUST ADD INK Sketch Challenge #56...

Using the sketch challenge at Just Add Ink and the colour challenge at Color Throwdown #129, l added the Technique challenge at Stampin Royalty #59 called "MARK IT UP" for my inspiration for this card, also another needed Birthday Card for later this week.

As Colouring of any description is one of my favourite Techniques l thoroughly enjoyed making this card and love the finished product, it has a very clean and simple look, The Butterflies are 3D.

This weeks Challenge over at Colour Q Coincided with my need for a not so girly Birthday card, so l decided to use another set l have not used nearly enough and this is what l came up with, very CAS.

After having no Internet access for 3 days and feeling like l had lost a limb, l was finally able to log back in last night and to my excitement l found l had been awarded "Colour Couture" over at Colour Q and also "PPA-Pick" at Pals Paper Arts.

1 Card, 3 Challenges....

I was inspired by all 3 of these challenges, the Colour Q challenge provided the colour combo & Pals paper arts #80 Challenge & the "JUST ADD LOVE" Challenge at Just add ink both combined for an old world romantic look, perfect for a "Valentines" card....and l couldn't be happier with the finished product!....Although l'm thinking Hubby may not appreciate it as much!
