Just Add Ink #235...Colour!

Whoohoo!...Friday has arrived..:0) And that means it's Just Add Ink challenge time. Kim has provided us with a beautiful colour palette this week, it's so pretty!
I normally wouldn't have thought to put these colours together, but, l love them and will definitely use them again.
I really wanted to keep this one soft, so l stamped off the first (middle) layer of Strawberry Slush and the base layer of Soft Sky and think it worked pretty well to get the look l was after.
Don't forget to pop over and check out the design team samples....Lot's of inspiration using these lovely colours.

Jingle # 2....

A short & sweet post from me today and another simple Christmas card...It uses the "Little Letters" positive diecuts leftover from Mondays Jingle card.
I used a variety of current and retired SU star punches and Silver foil cardstock, to create the embellishments and some of last years DSP stack that l'd been hoarding..:0)

Bright & Beautiful...

Afternoon all!...As you can see I'm still on the Christmas kick and l wanted to have more of  a play with these alternate Christmas colours.
As with my previous project, I've gone Very Vanilla, Basic Black & Silver and teamed them with the "Bright & Beautiful" set from the Holiday Catty. I love the impact of the black star on the vanilla, it's very striking and with a few hints of silver from the ribbon and Washi, it has a bit of an elegant feel to it.
This may well end up being my Christmas colour theme for this year..:0)

Bright & Beautiful Star Card!

Happy Tuesday everyone!...So while l still had these supplies out on my desk from my previous Star box project, l decided to do a kind of catty case..:0)
I used the largest star in the bundle to create the base and also the vanilla 3D layer, which has been scored and popped up on dimensionals, to really give a 3D effect.
Another quick and simple Christmas card done and dusted. At this rate l might actually have a collection by Christmas..:0)

Jingle!

Good Morning!...This would have to have been the absolute quickest card I've ever made. I kid you not, it took me longer to remember where l'd put my dies, than it did to line them up and finish the the card..:0) I know it's super simple, but l really like the white space and pops of Cherry Cobbler glimmer paper and green...Of course what "Jingle" card would be complete without and couple of itty bitty Jingle bells.

Curvy Keepsake Elephant!

It seems that this week I'm in "CASE" mode...This adorable Curvy Keepsake Elephant was the inspiration for today's project. I came across it on Pinterest and you know when you see something that has you doing a little happy dance from excitement...Yeah, that was me and l just had to re-create it..:0) It's just so darn cute!
I'm not normally a punch art girl, but this idea just begged to be made.
I used Smoky Slate & Pink Pirouette cardstocks and of course the Curvy Keepsake die...So glad l have some enabling friends, that convinced me l needed another box die..:0)

Just Add Ink #234....Baby!

Hi there!...It's time to share this weeks Just Add Ink challenge and Trish thought it would be fun to "Just Add Baby"....
I actually don't have a lot of baby themed stamps, but l did have one from PTI, that l'd purchased last year and hadn't yet used, which l thought might work.
I used my Smoky Slate & Basic Grey Markers on Watercolour paper to colour the fox and Lost Lagoon for the sentiments.

Don't forget to hop over to the challenge blog and be inspired by the super cute creations from the design team.

Hello Love....

Today l have a couple of cards to share, same, same,, but different. Both were created for friends Birthdays, one is a blue fan, the other a pink loving girl!
I just adore the sweet images in the Stampin Up hostess set "Hello Love", they are sweet and simple and with a few really cute sentiment options, they can be used for heaps of occasions.

The colours in this first one are Lost Lagoon-Soft Sky-Smoky Slate-Blackberry Bliss & Silver Glimmer Paper.

And the colours in this one are Pink Pirouette-Strawberry Slush-Smoky Slate & Silver Glimmer paper...

I used Blendabilities to colour the Glimmer Paper before punching.
