Just popping in to share a cute gift bag project to go with a card l made a few weeks back, you can find that post Here.

Now,... I'm a huge believer in giving credit if l case/copy anyone Else's ideas, l just think it's the right thing to do! After all, we all like to inspire and share our projects and having it acknowledged is also a nice thing!...Just my 2 cents...:0) So in saying that, the idea for this gorgeous flower (as far as l can tell) came from the very talented Gayle Wheeler and my lovely friend Christine shared it with me recently. With a whole lot of Oohs & Aaahs l might add!....So of course l just had to have a go!

This weeks Just Add Ink challenge is to "Just Add Frames" If you take a peek at the DT submissions, you will see a variety of frame ideas to get you started!

I went with my Deco Framelits and created a mini Christmas card and was really pleased with how it turned out and the fact that l now have one more Christmas card completed...I'm determined to get a good head start on them this year, so as to alleviate the Christmas stress and enjoy the process, that and finally ink up some of the unloved Christmas stamps in my stash..:0)

Oh boy, I can't believe it's Friday already! I'm thinking it must be the glorious warm weather we are having here in Melbourne that's thrown me this week...l must confess to being a summer lover, the warmer the better for this little black duck and with the start of Spring, I am so in my happy place and full of energy. When it's warm and sunny, I feel so much more human and raring to get out and move!...Love, love, love it!

Anyway, I'm sure you didn't stop by to get a weather report..:0) We have a yummy colour challenge for you this week over at Just Add Ink.

Just Add Ink #180...

Good morning!....It's time to share our challenge for this week over at Just Add Ink and that is to "Just Add Colouring"  Now that can be using Pencils, Markers, Crayons or whatever your favourite colouring medium may be!

I added colouring by using my blender pen and markers scribbled on acetate. I embossed the gorgeous Poinsettia from Stampin-Ups Joyous Christmas, using Cherry Cobbler E/P on Real Red card stock and shaded using my Cherry Cobbler marker and blender pen. The leaves were embossed with Gold E/P on Pear Pizzazz card stock and shaded with Old Olive.

Traditional Festive Flurry....

I thought l would use the Festive Flurry Framelits with Cherry Cobbler Core'dinations for this one and love the look and velvety feel of that snowflake, once it was embossed. I kept this one "VERY" simple, keeping the snowflake as the focus and not fussing to much with the rest, making it super quick to put together and perfect for a mass produced card.

Once again l used the "Season of Style" dsp and picked out the colours to coordinate........

Holiday Sneak Peeks.....

Don't you just love a "New Catty" or even more, the contents...:0) I must say the Stampin Up Holiday Catalogue is always a highlight for me....drool! I love all things Christmas and there are so many lovely Christmas and Holiday goodies in this one, that I'm thoroughly enjoying my playtime at the minute....So l thought l would share one of the cards I've created with some of them...well, lot's actually! I don't think l could possibly have added anything else...:0)

A rather more traditional colour combination on this one, but I'm loving the colours in the "Seasons of Style" DSP pack and love how they look paired up with the Christmas Collectibles Ornaments.

Friday Mashup-123...Blocked By Colour!

The challenge over at Friday Mashup this week, is "Acrylic Block Stamping or Colour Blocking". This is something I've been wanting to have another play with and there's no time like the present right? It's Lot's of fun and the results are so different each time.

Using Bermuda Bay-Coastal Cabana & Pool Party ink pads, this is what l came up with..........
