Just Add Ink #650...Large Letters or Numbers!

 

Morning!

Just Add Ink  has a brand new challenge starting today and for this one  Lou has challenged us to create a project using large letters or numbers.

I have gone with letters on a sweet gift tag/bag for a friend that has just moved into a new home. They are diecut from the Alphabet A La Mode dies, which also contain large numbers and some other sweet dies. It's a great set and l'm so glad l invested in these.

The coloured flower image is from the Full of Love stamp set and coloured with Stampin Blends in Flirty Flamingo-Melon Mambo-Mango Melody-Balmy Blue-Just Jade-Night of Navy.

Tag circles were cut with the Layering Scallop Circle dies in Basic White & Flirty Flamingo and attached with some white twine and a bow in some retired Bashful Blue grosgrain.

Colour INKspiration #142

It's Colour INKspiration challenge time and for this one Bron has provided a lovely organic colour combo for us to create with.

I've gone with my very unloved Plentiful Plants stamps & dies and added one of the cute furballs from the "Love Cats" stamp set...I don't normally purchase this style of stamps, but having a few friends and family that are cat lovers, l thought it would be fun for a different Birthday card vibe.

The fun dotty background is the "Handrawn Dots" B/G stamp and is stamped in Smoky Slate on Smoky Slate.
Also couldn't resist a bit of a play on words by using the "Have a Perfect (Purrfect) Birthday" greeting from the Blessings of Home stamps.

Just Add Ink #649...Colour!

 

Good Morning!

It's a NEW challenge day over at Just Add Ink  and for this one Annie has challenged us to create a project using these colours.

On first glance, l decided they were definitely a retro fit and the "Share a Milkshake" bundle was the perfect choice.

I have also used another fave background stamp called "Layered Stripes" which l feel also has a bit of a retro vibe. This was stamped in Smoky Slate on the Smoky Slate cardbase.

Milkshake cup is 1st & 2nd generation stamping in the Bermuda Bay.
I have also added some Basic Black accents (an allowed extra colour) and l'm pretty happy with the end result.

Somewhat elegant pretties for Colour INKspiration this week. I really enjoyed creating with the colours from Jan for this one...loved the idea of choosing my own retiring In Colour, which was Fresh Freesia.

I have used the Two Tone Flora bundle for this one and have to say l LOVE that background die. It is so pretty and really easy to cut and eject the pieces from. The gold leaves are from the Bough punch and cut from some retired Gold Foil.
