Just Add Ink #472...Sketch!

Good Morning!

Its that time again and this weeks Just Add Ink challenge is this fun sketch from Tina.

I had so much fun creating this project, figuring out a way to incorporate the triangular-ish mountain peaks.
I finally decided on the largest of the stitched rectangles and diecut some cardstock in Terracotta Tile and Petal Pink, attaching them at angles over a "Tufted" embossed cardbase. 

Then l used my Stampin Blends in Perfect Peacock-Calypso Coral-Pool party-Petal Pink & Old Olive to colour the sweet birds again, from the "Free as a Bird" bundle, adding the happy sentiment from "Well Said" diecut in Perfect Peacock to finish it off.

Colour INKspiration #62

Happy day friends!

Time for a brand new Colour INKspiration challenge and l just love these fresh springy colours! For my project, l have used Stampin Blends to colour one of the images from the lovely "Bloom And Grow" bundle...So pretty!

The hardest part about using this bundle, is deciding which image to colour! I have popped mine up on some Call Me Clover dsp & Crumbcake cardstock, diecut with the Stitched Rectangles.

Just Add Ink #471...Inspiration!

Its Friday! and that means we have a fun new challenge happening over at Just Add Ink. For this one Rachael has given us this lovely inspiration to create with.

The twisty texture and deep colours were what caught my eye, so using the "Floral Essence" flower punch image, the "Swirly Frames" circle (like the wool strands) and the pine planks embossing folder, this is what l got!

I really wanted to add one of the "Floral Essence" centers to my flower as they are so cute! But being yellow, it wasn't going to work with the colours.

Stamp Review Crew...Birch background!

Morning friends!

Its time for a new Stamp Review Crew blog hop! For this one we are sharing projects made with the lovely "Birch" background stamp...I love this one and it was one of the first things to make my wish list for the new catalogue and definitely a must have in your craft stash.

I have inked mine using 3 colours, Flirty Flamingo-Bermuda Bay-Old Olive on whisper white to create a pretty rainbow of colour and added the sentiment "Friend" diecut with the lovely new "Hand Lettered Prose" alphabet dies.

Just Add Ink #470..."No Stamping"

Morning Friends!

Its time for this weeks Just Add Ink challenge and this week Jo has challenged us to create a project with absolutely "No Stamping"...I have to say, it threw me at first until l remembered all of the lovely images on the "Magnolia Lane" memories and More cards.

These are so pretty and so many in one packet, that it took me awhile to choose which one l was going to use. Obviously l wanted one with a greeting to meet the "No Stamping" rule.

So once that was chosen, l used a circle punch to cut out the sentiment and then flipped it over to use the softer patterned side on the card base and mounting the sentiment circle on a slightly larger circle and popping it up on dimentionals.

Then l added some of the precut/sticky flower elements which also come in the card kit and some twine and bitty gold glimmer hearts to finish it off....So quick and easy!

Colour INKspiration #61

Evening everyone!

We have a new Colour INKspiration blog hop happening and this colour palette is so dreamy!

I decided to combine the colours with the "Sailing Home" bundle and the "Birch" background to create a soft nautical project for one of the masculine variety in the family.

I have also added a hint of copper to the Gray Granite-Soft suede-Whisper White-Mint Macaron palette to add some extra detail.

Just Add Ink #469...Colour!

Morning everyone!

We have a gorgeous new colour challenge from Di, over at Just Add Ink today. These colours together are just stunning and so beautifully vibrant and eye catching!

I have combined them with the big bloom image from "To a Wild Rose", coloured with Stampin Blends.
I have gone one layer and CAS letting the simple images do the work.

Just Add Ink #468...Add "C"

It's Spring...woohoo! That means warmer temps and Summer is on the horizon!

At Just Add Ink we have a fun new alphabet challenge from Tina! l have created a "Coastal" beach themed project as my "C" element, using the "A Good Man" stamp set with some of the images from "High Tide" and some Coastal Cabana.

Merry Merlot-Coastal Cabana-Old olive-Crushed Curry and Seaside Spray were my colour palette.
