Just Add Ink #367...Colour!

Happy Friday folks! It's time for a new challenge over at Just Add Ink and this week Patrice has given us a cool colour combination to work with.
I absolutely love the new Lemon Lime Twist, its so fresh and unlike any of the other greens in the Stampin Up colour palette.

These colours screamed a masculine card to me, so that's where l went combining them with the yummy new Burlap background stamp and Marquee messages.

I really wanted to add some sparkle. In an understated way of course, being masculine and all. So l used some rubbing alcohol and a few drops of Lemon-Lime Twist reinker and brushed it over some scraps of Dazzling diamonds & the old pale silver glimmer papers using various layers to get the colours l wanted.
Once it was dry l punched a heap of little circle dots with the handheld punch and used the white gel pen to colour the remaining spots and added a drop of fine tip glue to those.

Here's what l used and you can see the variation of tones on the two different glimmer papers.

Don't forget to pop over and check out the awesomeness from the rest of the design team.

Thanks for stopping by!
All supplies used are stampin Up!

  3. You are so patient to stick down all of those little punchies! They give a great effect on your card, so the effort was certainly worth it!
