Just Add Ink #269....Colour!

Yippee!...Friday has arrived at last and with the last couple of weeks being super busy, I'm beat..:0) Having arrived home from a lovely warm holiday with the man, l hit the ground running and it seems although I've achieved, I'm still at a jogging pace....But l am hoping to rectify the lack of inspirational fodder around here of late over the next few days..:0)

So, being Friday means it's also a brand new Just Add Ink challenge. Kim has provided a very nice colour combination for this one and as l arrived home to a lovely "BBB" (big brown box) from SU,
yep, l placed an order while on hols..:0)
l just couldn't miss a "New" catty release and as much as l was enjoying the sunshine & cocktails, l was suffering from "FOMO"..:0) But it meant l had some yummy new toy's to play with on my return and l didn't have to wait.
The "Build a Birthday" set was a must have on my wish list and l think it works well with this weeks colours.

The design team have created some gorgeous samples to give you some inspiration, so be sure to check them out..:0)

"Thanks for stopping by"

  1. I may be behind the times, but what is FOMO? I love that you made a craft order whilst away on holidays, lol. That's something I would do. Your birthday cake looks 'delish', and the added flower details just make it! Love! x

  2. Thank goodness you asked P - I had no idea either!!
Love how you framed your fabulous tiered cake in the die cut Nikki - it brings out all the curvy bits, and I love the extra little flowers too - a gorgeous 3D touch! xxx

  3. Ha - I was just about to ask "what is FOMO"?? Did you make that up, Nikki? LOL. Love, love, love, the way you've used this fun stamp set and the gorgeous colours, Nikki. Great use of the framelits too. xx

  4. Lol, I was going to ask about FOMO too - so fun that you put an order in whilst away Nikki! And just love this card too - the tiers suit the colours fabulously and I love the opposite colours behind the labels too. xx

  5. A lovely card! The colours do indeed work really well with this set but a great overall design too.
