Here's the challenge for this week.................
My card evolved from a memory of my Gran and a gorgeous old dresser in her kitchen which housed a lovely blue china breakfast set, which is now sitting pretty in my sideboard...lucky me!
Along the edge of the dresser was a plastic doily runner for decoration and the interior open shelves had a type of floral patterned paper with all the little blue teacups in a row....funny how the mind works!
Anyway, here is my card using the SU set "Tea Shoppe"..........
I also used the new Framelits dies, laying the DSP on only half of the die and used the negative space to re-create the fancy carved top of the dresser and repeatedly stamped the pretty flower image in the background to replicate the paper inside the dresser.
I'm glad l had time to play along when there is such pretty colour to work with, although l must admit l don't reach for blues as my first choice generally, but l love these two together and l am pretty happy with the end result!
