Work of Art for Baby Mason!.....

Happy Monday all!....While waiting for the arrival of our beautiful new grand bub, l wanted to make a baby card and not knowing the gender before hand, l decided to make one of each in preparation..:0)

I used Coastal Cabana and Crisp Cantaloupe in various stamped off shades and the "Work of Art" stamp set, the ribbons are from my stash and the sweet swallow die is one of the very first ones l bought when l started cardmaking.
Those of you that regularly follow my blog, know that the Coastal Cabana one went home with this little cherub. xxx

Beautiful Bunch Fry Box!...

Morning!...I'm sure I'm not the only one to get excited to receive a big brown box from SU, but my poor delivery guy couldn't get of my porch quick enough the other day, I'm sure he thought l was going to make him join in my happy dance with me..lol
But when you know how much fun is in that little ole box, you can't help but get enthusiastic!

Lot's of new goodies to play with and this super cute "Fry Box" die was one of them. I'm a little obsessed with cute packaging and this sweet little box was a must have on my wish list..:0)
I kept this one simple and paired it with some other new toys from SU and love how dainty it looks with the "Sweet Sadie" washi tape and the "Beautiful Bunch" flower stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe.

I can see this one getting Lot's of use, especially with the little people in my life. It will be fun to use for themed birthday party's and cute Christmas gifts too, heaps of possibilities!

Kinda Eclectic Shaker!.....

Happy weekend all!....Wherever you are, l hope it's a tad warmer than Melbourne this week....Brrrr!
I'm just popping in to share another shaker card l made a week or so back, but with all of the baby love happening around here, l was just a little distracted and only just ventured back into my studio.

Thanks so much to everyone that stopped by and left such lovely comments on the arrival of Mason, he is just adorable and they are all doing really well. xxx

So, now to share my card info! I used the the "Kinda Eclectic" set and went with a negative space shaker for this one, it was really quick to make and l love the sparkle of the sequins....and that I'm finally getting to use some of my stash, leftover from my daughters dance costume days..:0)

Just Add Ink #222....Colour Combo!

It's challenge time over at Just Add Ink and this week we have some very pretty colours to work with, suggested by Mae.

I love this combination together and really enjoyed creating with them. I wanted to make a card that was pretty, yet still clean and fresh in style.  I also thought l'd have a go at a cute little "Tea/Coffee" bag box to go with it, perfect for popping some sachets into the folds on the front & back and a cello bag of goodies to enjoy with a cuppa to hang in the middle!
The pretty flower image is from the "Gifts of Kindness" set, l stamped this in Soft Suede on the card front and also on the box, then stamped again with Blushing Bride, so l could fussy cut the flower heads and pop them up for more dimension. The box sentiment is from the "Amazing Birthday" set.

This was such a pretty colour combo to play with and the design team have created some gorgeous samples, so don't forget to pop over to the challenge blog and check them out!

A New Creation....

"Mason Henry"
9lb-15oz

What a huge day it's been in our family, at around 1am this morning this beautiful little man made a very hasty arrival into the world and when l say hasty, he arrived minutes after they pulled into the hospital..:0)
What a cherub, we are so happy to be blessed with grandchild #5 and love every minute we get to spend with them all. xxx

Throughout my daughters pregnancy the big bro's have maintained they really wanted a brother to play with (smile) they got their wish and are both just a little infatuated already....I couldn't resist sharing the brotherly love!....

Just Add Ink #221...Shakers!

Happy Friday friends!...We have a very cool challenge happening at Just Add Ink this week!
Paula suggested we make a project using "Shaker Frames" how much fun is that!
My initial idea had been to go bright & colourful with heaps of coloured sparkles, but as you can see, that idea went out the window..:0) Well actually just the end of my desk, I'll share that set later.

I decided to go with a positive frame for my shaker.  Using the "Deco Label" framelits from Stampin Up and some thin foam that l had in my stash, l diecut one frame from foam and another from Lost Lagoon cardstock and the full window from window sheets.
I ended up using some inspiration from one of the projects we made at "Inspire-Create-Share" and inked up the lovely leaves from "Kinda Eclectic" in Moss Meadow & my Hexagon embossing folder in Lost Lagoon. The sequins are also from my stash and are a perfect match for the delish Blackberry Bliss ribbon.
With the leftover diecut panels from the centers, l made a smaller version to decorate the "Hamburger Box"...It's a really soft & pretty set IRL...But these pics don't do them justice!

Go have a peek at the design teams projects, there are some very cool ideas that will have you running for your sequins, beads and glitter...:0)

More Project Life!.....

Hey there!...Recently the man and l celebrated a milestone anniversary and l thought these journaling cards and sentiments from the "Project Life" range and "Hello Lovely" worked really well for making a masculine card....Clean & Bold and the perfect messages..:0)
I forgot to take my pics before l wrote on the inside, so rather than bring on your 'Gag" reflexes by sharing that, it's pretty much more of the same, using some of the cool epoxy stickers and elements from the "Everyday Adventure" pack..:0)

Flower Shop!...

Happy Hump Day!....Have l mentioned how much l love the "New" In-Colours from SU..:0) I couldn't resist using them with the "Flower Shop" set and love how great this flower goes with the leaves and butterfly from "Kinda Eclectic" and the chevrons from "Work of Art",  they all have that grungy feel, which l love!
Surprisingly, my fave colour combo from the five new colours is "Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss"..Being an orange girl normally, l'm surprised that l find myself reaching for those colours first...But l just love the way they look together..:0)
But in saying that, l've actually used all five new colours on this card!
