Colour INKspiration...#103

Evening everyone!

Colour INKspiration have a gorgeous new colour combination suggested by Cheryll and l am in LOVE!

These colours are just so lovely together and l really enjoyed pulling out my "Jar of Flowers" set for this one! The background is the "Artistically Inked" large watercolour image in Soft Succulent and the florals and foliage were coloured in Stampin Blends in Evening Evergreen-Soft Succulent-Pale Papaya-Mango Melody(this was the closest l had to Bumblebee).
The sentiment is popped up on a diecut from the "Tasteful Labels" dies and a circle from the scalloped circle dies...Sweet & simple, but l really like the effect of the background showing through the jar.

Just Add Ink #562...Inspiration!

Morning friends!

Our challenge this week over at Just Add Ink  was provided by Kim and is all about inspiration! She has challenged us to create a project using the inspiration pic above.

I couldn't resist cracking open my new "Festive Foliage" background stamp for this one. After colouring with Stampin Blends in Cherry Cobbler-Mossy Meadow-Old Olive, l have added one of the stunning star diecuts from the "Tidings & Trimmings" bundle in gold foil, some fine tip glue to the berries and finished it off with a sentiment from "Poinsettia Petals" in Mossy Meadow ink...I think this BG stamp will feature plenty on this years Christmas projects.

Don't forget to click the link above and head over to the challenge blog to see what the rest of the design team has created!

NEW Stampin Up!...Christmas in July!

Evening all!

Tonight's share is just for fun! AND because my BBB arrived from Stampin Up! a couple of days ago and its been killing me not to have a play!
As a Stampin Up! demonstrator we get early access to a lovely new "Occasions Mini" & just for something a little different, we have Sale-a-Bration! Both will be available to customers from the 3rd of August!
So many lovely products and freebies too!

I couldn't resist inking up the gorgeous "Merriest Moments" bundle that comes complete with the NEW style "Hybrid" embossing folder/dies....It embosses beautifully and when you lay your coordinating die inside the folder (YES, you heard right), it cuts as well. Love that sentiment it is so apt for the times....Whoop, Whoop for fun new ideas!

Another NEW product is the "Whimsy & Wonder" dsp that l have popped behind in my photos, this shows you both sides of one sheet and that foil snowflake print on blushing Bride is just stunning!

Stamp Review Crew...Sweet Strawberry!

Good Morning all!

We are on the hop over at Stamp Review Crew and this one is all about the super cute "Sweet Stawberry" set.

This week l have two projects to share, going fairly simple, keeping it crisp and clean and the focus on the images.
For both my card and cute packaging, l created my background using the watercolour image from the "Artistically Inked" set in a second generation stamping in polished Pink.
My strawberries are second gen Polished Pink & Poppy Parade, leaves are coloured with stamping blends in Soft Succulent all popped up on a diecut from the Tasteful Labels dies and l've added some of the InColour faceted gems.

This sweet style packaging is inspired by Jen from Creative Escapes adorable little boxes.

If you are happily hopping, you would have arrived here from the fabulously creative  from Charlet and l'm sure she had something fabulous to share!
But if you've just landed here, you can follow the hop and see all of the wonderful crew projects by clicking the link above or "Next" banner below.
Stamp Review Crew are a wonderfully talented group of Stampin Up! demonstrators from across the globe that come together twice a month to share lots of fabulous ideas using Stampin Up! products.

Next up is Jay from mitosucrafts and l'm sure he will have something wonderful to share!

Just Add Ink #561...Shakers!

Good Morning all!

Our challenge for this week over at Just Add Ink is to create a project with a shaker element. This can be a small shaker detail or as l have done a larger feature.

I have used the gorgeous "Quiet Meadow" bundle in Fresh Freesia & White. This is such a pretty and very versatile bundle and absolutely one of my faves at the minute.

I decided not to add to specific a sentiment for this one, then depending on the occasion, l can add one to the inside at the time.

The shaker window was created with the stitched rectangles and a piece of window sheet. The sequins are non SU, but as l wanted all clear, a bag l found in my stash worked perfectly.

Lots of fun shaker ideas from the design team this week, so make sure you pop over and have a peek!
