Social Stamping....Friend!

Hello lovely friends!

We are hopping over at Social Stamping and this week Kelly has set the theme of "FRIEND" and I am so appreciative of being able to share through this group with many friends.

Kelly and l are on a number of design teams together and when she kindly offered to blog host, l was thrilled to be asked and to be able to share with you all this fabulous concept!...It's keeping us connected, creating and sharing! Which in these uncertain times is such a blessing and something to look forward to each week.

For my "Friend" project, l have used the very sweet "Honey Bee" bundle in Blushing Bride for a somewhat different look at these products!

Todays share is our new Just Add Ink Inspiration challenge. Jackie has given us this lovely colourful pic to inspire our projects.

I have created a 4"x 4" card using "Breathtaking Bouquet" Coloured with Stampin blends! 

Sweet and simple and an easy way to use a large background image.

I was inspired by the bright pops of colour, nestled in greenery!

Social Stamping...Rainbows!

Happy Easter to you all!

This weeks Social Stamping theme is "Rainbows"  The perfect choice for adding some colourful fun in our current times and also in keeping with the current trend of sharing rainbows everywhere!

Our little cherubs have the biggest buckets of chalk and have been drawing up a storm of colour, up and down their footpaths/driveways. Such a lovely idea, keeps them occupied and brings so many smiles too!

I haven't created a traditional rainbow, but more a swatch of rainbow colours...But they still made me smile!
My colour choices are Highland Heather-Bermuda Bay-Granny Apple Green-Mango melody-Flirty Flamingo....This combination is 100% a fave for creating bright happy cards.

Just Add Ink #500...Blog Hop!

Happy Easter everyone!

We have a fabulous milestone to celebrate at Just Add Ink this week, we have reached our 500th challenge.

This is such a wonderful achievement from all of our design team members, past and present and not to mention all of our lovely challenge participants over the last 10yrs. Without you, we wouldn't have a challenge to create for.

I am so grateful to have been a part of this team as a design team member since March 2011 and a challenge participant prior to that for some time...It has given me so many treasured friends and beautiful friendships, as well as the perfect creative outlet!

Jan has set the challenge criteria for this week and as long as our projects contain a die cut word, we met the challenge brief! This is fun and simple and can be for any occasion!

I have used the super cute Lovely Ladybug bundle from SAB for my project, adding layers, texture and brightly coloured bugs!

Colour INKspirations #75

Hello Friends!

It is time for another Colour INKspiration challenge and this one is all about bright and bold! The lovely Cathy has given us this pretty colour palette to create with and l absolutely love it.

I have used another neglected stamp set "Beautiful Friendship" and really enjoyed inking it up in first & second ink generations to create a softer version of the colours.
The  scalloped diecut is from the lovely new Ornate Style dies...So pretty!

Social Stamping...Thank You!

 Hello!

It's Social Stamping time again and this week Kelly has set the theme as "Thank You".
Having time on my hands to create purely for the social and fun aspect, l am really enjoying these creating opportunities to dig out some sets l haven't played with in forever.

So with the "Accented Blooms" stamp set, l used my Stampin Blends in Calypso Coral-Mint Macaron-Petal Pink & Old Olive to colour the images and a second generation of Terracotta Tile for the thank you panel.

These were all popped up on a Stitched Rectangle and added to a notecard, adding some retired dsp to the coordinating envelope....Sweet and simple!

Just Add Ink #499...Colour!

Good Morning!

Its Just Add Ink challenge time and this week Rachael has given us this lovely soft colour combination to add to our projects!

I went with some softly coloured Flowering Foils blooms, coloured with inkpads and daubers.
It's very simple and clean, but l love the softness and crisp white details.
