Just Add Ink #780...Stencils & Dies!

 

Happy Friday friends!

This weeks challenge over at Just Add Ink is on repeat! It's such a good challenge option, as it allows for the addition of pretty much any theme, style, colours and products!

I am besotted by the "Petals of Beauty" bundle, it has some great images and dies and the coordinating products like the "Brushed with Beauty" DSP and the "Pearls of Beauty" make creating so simple.

The colours l've used are Calypso Coral-Crumbcake-Very Vanilla-Early Espresso-Old Olive & Mossy Meadow.

I pulled out one of my old stencils from the Sweet Soiree pack and added some detail with Crumbcake ink & a blending brush. It's soft & subtle, but there.

Sentiment is from the "Lovely Arrangements" stamps inked in Early Espresso. To finish off l have added some of the pretty "Pearls of Beauty" embellishments and a sweet little Linen Thread bow.

It's time for a fun NEW challenge over at Colour INKspiration and this one is from Lou...Cake-Flowers & pretty colours will always appeal.

Having purchased the New Simply Beautiful bundle, l wanted to create the large diecut flower to see how it looks size wise....It's definitely large, almost too much so for a card for me, so some pretty packaging it is!

So l could add in the Lost Lagoon colour, l riffled through my DSP stash and found this simple pattern in the Everyday Happiness pack (retired).

Sentiment is stamped in Lost Lagoon using the Delicate Framing stamps. To finish of l shredded some of the lovely Petal Pink braided Trim to create the bow.

Just Add Ink #779...Sketch!

Happy challenge day friends!

Our Just Add Ink challenge for this one is from Jan and it's such a great simple sketch that creating was so easy!

I've used the gorgeous "Lovely Arrangements" bundle and kept it crisp and clean. Added some simple texture with the Mini Corrugated embossing folder.

Colours are Secret Sea-Old Olive-Basic White.

Time to invest in some White embossing powder also. As with my previous project, it also is not performing as l'd like, although the white is better than the silver.

I've also added some of the pretty "Moody Pallete" glossy dots to finish off.

Colour INKspiration #203

It's a NEW Colour INKspiration challenge week and Monica has given us some lovely Blue hues for this one!

As l often struggle to create without a green tone, l decided a more masculine theme was going to work for this one, as l have 3 Teen Boy birthdays on the horizon.

Products used were the fun "Gears & Text" stamps, perfect for creating fun backgrounds and the "Words of Beauty" bundle for the sentiment.

To finish off l have added some of the Rainbow Dots (retired) but the colour worked.

Not loving the Silver embossed sentiment, as l have noticed recently that some of my older embossing powders are just not performing...Time to invest in some new ones l think.
