Just Add Ink #740...Colour!

 

Good Morning Friends!

Over at Just Add Ink this week, we have a fabulous new colour challenge from Rochelle and these colours were very different from my usual go to, but fun to create with!

For this one l dug out an older set to create with, the Enduring Beauty bundle...This one has stamps-dies-masks and makes creating simple and fun.

I used my blending brushes to colour the image using the masks. Flowers were Pretty in Pink & Cherry Cobbler, leaves are Night of navy and ended up quite dark, but l do like the bold look.

Sentiment is from the pretty Delightful Wishes bundle and all layered up on a panel embossed with my new fave folder...Plaster Painting 3D one. DSP strip is from the Mediterranean Blooms pack.

Colour INKspiration #182

 

Over at Colour INKspiration challenges, Cathy has given us this pretty combination to create our projects with.

I decided to ink up the Memorable blooms stamp and get some Stampin Blend colouring done. Its been ages since l used my blends and i had forgotten how much l enjoy using them.

The blooms and foliage use all of the above colours and are stamped and diecut on two of the deckled circle dies, layered up on a panel embossed with the gorgeous Plaster Painting 3D embossing folder to add some texture.

In keeping with my 25 goal of adding DSP to my projects, l've cut and added some strips from the 24/26 In Colour dsp stack and some cardstock strips.

Greeting is from the Delightful Wishes bundle and to finish, l've added some Gold Twisted thread & 24/26 In Colour shimmer gems.

Just Add Ink #738...Sketch!

 

Happy Friday friends!

Our Just Add Ink challenge this week is a fabulous sketch from Jo and l have to say it was a delight to create with...I do love simple shapes and lines with a sketch.

I have decided 2025 is going to be my "DSP" year! I buy so much, because l love it, yet only ever use a little from each pack...So this year l am challenging myself to really focus on creating with these beautiful papers, instead of just collecting and admiring them!

So, in saying that, my sketch project only uses the delightful..."Floral Delight" papers and l love how this one looks. It's very fussy, which is unusual for my style, but there you have it, l've succeeded in using more dsp and l don't hate it!

Base layer is one of the pretty patterns, squares are another, diecut with the retired Stitched Squares and the blooms were fussy cut from the same piece as the base layer...Finished off with some Linen Thread and some Blooming Pearls and a sentiment from the Translucent Florals stamps.

Evening all!

This weeks Colour INKspiration challenge is from Lou and the colours are just perfect for another grandies birthday card...This one is for #1 grandson and boy it makes feel old!

I decided on super simple using the colours in bold stripes to create an ombre panel using all four colours and die cutting the 16 sentiment from the "Wildflower Birthday" dies in Azure Afternoon to match the Wishes diecut from the "Saying Something" ephemera pack.

Birthday is from the Everyday Greetings stamps and to finish, the dots are from the 24/26 resin dots in Summer Splash.
