Just Add Ink #627...Choose Two!

 

It's NEW challenge time over at  Just Add Ink and this week Tina has challenged us to choose "TWO" of the elements above and create a project using both!

I've gone with "Day & Silhouette" using the fab Rays of light background stamp in Mango Melody and the Silhouettes are from the Paradise Palms bundle...Greetings are from the Sending Smiles bundle, such a handy set to have!

This weeks Just Add Ink challenge was put forward by Kim and l love the pretty Spring vibe!

For my project this week l have used the gorgeous and somewhat under rated "Daisy Background" stamp and coloured with Stampin Blends in....Sweet Sorbet-Pumpkin Pie-Flirty Flamingo-Ivory Bronze-Old Olive-Mossy Meadow-Daffodil Delight.

With some Blending brush shading in Mossy Meadow & Old Olive...Splatters are a White Craft ink and water mix, loaded onto an Aqua painter and tapped onto a ruler to create a random speckle...Always love this effect on projects, it's so easy to do and adds that extra interest.

Colour INKspiration #131

 

Evening all!

Over at Colour INKspiration Bronwyn has selected this rich earthy colour combination to create with...How cute is that pic too!

I have to say these colours are a little out of my comfort zone, but l really enjoyed creating with them and it gave me a chance to revisit my "Natures Harvest" bundle.

Diecuts are Early Espresso & Crumbcake, background embossing is the Painted Textures 3D folder and inky splotches are in Cherry Cobbler.

Flowers are a combintion of Cherry Cobbler (bottom two) & Sweet Sorbet (top one) Stems & flower centers are Crumbcake & Early Espresso, all Stampin Blends!

To finish off l have added a twine bow, Brushed Metallic Dots and a sentiment from the Plentiful Plants stamp set.
