Just Add Ink #480...Technique!

Morning!

Todays share is my project for our new Just Add Ink challenge. This week Jan has challenged us to add a technique to our projects.

Love this challenge concept, l always get so inspired by the teams creativity when l see their projects.

I have chosen a simple masking technique, one l love, but often forget to use...It's easy and can be used on any project really, all you need is "Sticky Notes" 

Choose the size and shape you wish to leave blank, place it on your card panel, stamp around making sure to place the image over the sticky note to create a solid border effect and remove once you're done and add your sentiment and any other details to finish it off.

I have used the "Beautiful Friendship" images again, as l felt they worked really well for this technique and the soft spring colours are So Saffron-Pear Pizzazz-Highland Heather (stamped off for flowers) and full strength for the sentiment. With a base of So Saffron and panel of Purple Posy.

Colour INKspiration #66

Happy Wednesday friends!

We have a lovely, colourful hop happening over at  Colour INKspiration. This one is a "You Choose" hop, meaning we get to choose our own colours from the palette above. We can use all 5 if we want to. The only must do was choose at least 3 to add to our projects.

I have gone with "Coastal Cabana-Lovely Lipstick-Mint Macaron" teaming them with lots of Whisper White, the Daisy Lane bundle, Detailed Bands and foliage from the Frosted Frames dies.

I also used the Subtle embossing folder for some added texture and some gold Glimmer for sparkle.

Next up is Rachel Palmieri with her fabulous project!

Just Add Ink #479...Colour!

Its challenge time again over at Just Add Ink and this week Jackie has challenged us to use this lovely colour palette on our projects!

These colours are so fresh and pretty and the design team have created some gorgeous inspiration, so make sure you click on the link and pop over for a peek!

I have combined them with the pretty Daisy Lane punch, Frosted Frames and the Lace border die to create a fresh spring feel project for a friend...White daisies, crisp colours & friends make the perfect combination.

Just Add Ink #478..."H"

Good Morning!

Time to share my new Just Add Ink challenge project with you!  This week Tina has challenged us to add "H" to our projects...simple and fun!

I have gone with "H" for Happy, choosing to create another Christmas card for my stash. I have kept it simple with a few diecuts, some texture and sparkle...really easy to recreate this one and as l go through a few, l like the simple option for quick creating.

I have used the Subtles embossing folder, Winter Woods Bundle, Stitched Labels & the Merry Christmas to all stamps and dies.  In Merry Merlot, Mossy meadow & Gold Glimmer.

Colour INKspiration #65

Yay! It's time to play along with the Colour Inkspiration team and a new batch of challenge colours!

I stuck predominantly with the Black, Gray & Blackberry adding a tiny hint of the Merlot as a circle element beneath the sentiment, using the Sailing Home bundle.

Just Add Ink #477...Sketch!

It's challenge time again over at Just Add Ink and Kim has given us this lovely clean sketch to create with!

I decided to combine it with the gorgeous new "Christmas Gleaming" suite to make a start on my Christmas cards and l have to say, l just love everything in this suite and the fabulous coordination of them all.

I have also used one of the pretty "Banded Together" diecuts and flipped the sketch circle element to the left of the card...Lots of layers, texture and pretty copper details.
