Happy Mothers Day weekend!
Kim has supplied our lovely inspiration challenge at Just Add Ink this week and it is perfect for creating a Mothers Day card.
I have opted to go rather literal with this one, using the gorgeous "Definitely Dahlia" image stamped in Rich Razzleberry and over stamped the watercolour image from "Perpetual Calendar" with Soft Sky.
To add some extra glitz and a bit of a whimsical feel, l used the retiring "Gorgeous Grunge" (insert sad face) embossed in gold.
The sentiment is from the "Birthday Blast" set, (also retiring) and embossed in gold on vellum cardstock.
The rest of the design team have created some gorgeous and inspiring projects, so don't forget to hit the link above and check them out.
Absolutely stunning Nikki. Clever use of the watercolour stamp. And I love the gold splatter - takes it to the next level! Kelly x
ReplyDeleteYes, this is totally gorgeous Nikki! I love the effect of your soft blue background and the sense of movement from the grunge is indeed gorgeous. I am sad to see this go too. Xx
ReplyDeleteGeez this is stunning Nikki! Each element is simple but combined together they are amazing. Especially loving the layering of ink and embossing! xxx
ReplyDeleteWell how perfect is this when compared to the inspiration pic? Gorgeous, and I love the gold spattering you've added. x
