Just Add Ink #676...Inspiration!

It's time for a new Just Add Ink challenge and this one is from Kim. She has challenged us to create a project using this lovely Autumn/could be Halloween pic as inspiration.

I took my inspiration from the colours and check cushion, to create a sweet and simple birthday card using the (retired) Buffalo Check background in Crumbcake and the lovely Translucent Florals in Pumpkin Pie & Old Olive and added some (retired) Candy Dots in Pumpkin Pie and some Linen Thread detail.

Colour INKspiration...#154

Time for another Colour INKspiration challenge and this week Rose has provided a lovely combination for us to create with.

I went with a giftbox/bag in Crumbcake and using the colours with the Cheerful Daisy dies and the Timeless Arrangement bundle to create a thank you gift.

Extras on this one are the pretty Faceted Gems & Pool Party Grosgrain ribbon and Linen Thread.

These are not normally colours l would reach for together, but l really like how pretty they are as a combination.

Just Add Ink #675...Spotlight!

Our challenge over at Just Add Ink this week is from Lou! She has challenged us to create a project using a "Spotlight Technique".

There are lots of ways to do this and as you can see by the design team projects (click the link) we have created lots of lovely projects with varying ways of adding this.

My project is a quick and simple one, using the Darling Details stamps, as l like the fun lines and easy stamping...To add extra detail, l used my fine liner black pen and added to the tiny flower and foliage, finishing with a greeting from the set and adding some Matt Black embellishments.

Over at Colour INKspiration challenges Vicki has chosen these gorgeous colours for us to create with for this challenge...Such a pretty combination!

I decided to create a sweet  Christmas giftbox and add a tag using the colours and the Modern Garden-Sweet Citrus and Darling Details stamps. I've also added some fine liner work. 

Tag scallops are from the Basic Border dies and circles are retired SU punches. Sentiment diecut is from the Cheerful Daisy dies.

I love the new "Festive Tags" kit from Stamping Up! and based my tag design on that using the challenge colours, as those in the kit weren't a colour match.
