Just Add Ink #374...Inspiration!

Happy Friday all!  It's time for another fun challenge over at Just Add Ink. This week Jan has given us this interesting Inspiration pic to play with.
I say interesting, as at first glance l was a little stumped as to which elements to focus on. Once l decided on the woodgrain and coffee elements, l wanted to keep a bit more feminine and added the big white daisy using the new SU Daisy punch and a hint of gold sparkle  with glimmer paper and twine.
The Woodgrain DSP is from the "Wood Textures DSP Stack"...I love this paper and think l will be adding a second to my stash in the not too distant future.
The daisy leaves were stamped and punched using the "Blossom Builder" stamp and punch and the "Coffee Cups" framelits were used to create the cup.  l used my score board to add the lines to the lid for a little detail.

I think that just about covers the creative elements, but l just realised l forgot to take a pic of the inside...:0( But it basically has the sentiment..."Shared with a friend" Which is partial use of the stamp in the "Coffee Cafe" bundle.
The front sentiment is from the "Sweet Cupcake" stamp set and l think they work really well together.

Colour INKspiration #16

 Colour INKspiration

It's Colour INKspiration  time! And for this challenge hop we have this dreamy colour palette to play with.
I really wanted to show my "Feather Together" stamp set  some love and thought it would work well with these colours as a "Dream Catcher".
As l had already fussy cut extra feathers, l decided to create a very CAS second card and stuck with the "Thinking of You" sentiment on both, as it can be applied to many occasions these will be a handy addition to my stash.

Did you just arrive from the gorgeous creation Nicole Wilson shared? If not, you can click on her link and go take a peek or you can hit the "Next" link below to complete the loop and see all of the crews fab projects.

Stamp Review Crew...Window Shopping!

 Stamp Review Crew

Welcome to a brand new hop over at Stamp Review Crew  For this one we are showcasing the lovely Window Shopping set. This set coordinates with the cutest Hexagon shaped box and the detailed thinlits to match.
Did you just arrive from the talented Ann Schach and her lovely Window Shopping creation? You can continue along the hop loop by clicking the "Next" banner below or click the Stamp Review Crew banner up top to be redirected to the start.

I really wanted to focus on the cute stamp images in this set, so using Emerald Envy and one of the larger images, l used repetitive stamping to create my own dsp.
To create the cute sparkly cupcake, l hand cut the base and punched the treetop/cloud from the Tree builder punch and coated it with the new Embossing paste and of course no cupcake is complete without sprinkles.

Now you are off to be inspired by the lovely Twila Davis and her fab project!

Just Add Ink #373...Stencils!

It's time for another fun challenge over at Just Add Ink  and this week Karren has challenged us to use "Stencils" on our projects...Fun!
So as l had yet to open my "Pattern Party Decorative Masks" this challenge was perfect!

I was tempted to use the embossing paste, but decided that Versamark and clear embossing powder suited the project l had in mind better.
To apply the Versamark ink l used a sponge dauber direct to the inkpad and went over the design a couple of times making sure it was nice and wet and then gave it a liberal coating of the clear embossing powder.
For some pretty detail l added some fussy cut flowers from the "Whole lot of Lovely" dsp and some leaves using the retired Bird Builder punch in Pear pizzazz and Gold Glimmer. The greeting is from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set.

Just Add Ink #372...Colour!

Not sure where that week went, but its Friday again and that means a brand new challenge over at Just Add Ink.
This week we have one of my fave colour combinations to play with and wouldn't you know it, l drew a blank..:0( As l usually do when the creative mind goes walkabout l stick to a clean and simple style.

My project this week combines Dragonfly Dreams, Happiest of Days and the lovely marbled background stamp. Lots of  clear Wink of Stella on the bloom/leaves and Dragonfly body...It shows up a little clearer in the second pic.

Stamp Review Crew....This Little Piggy!

 Stamp Review Crew

Welcome to Stamp Review crew  and our "This Little Piggy" blog hop. This set was definitely on my radar from the get go. It's super cute lineart images are perfect for colouring and work so well for many styles of projects.
I combined it with the "Whole Lot of Lovely" dsp and stamp set to create a cute card for a friend. The colours l used are Peekaboo Peach, Pear pizzazz, Black, white and a few gold details to add some sparkle!   To colour this little guy, l used a combination of retired Blendabilities in the pinks and pumpkins using the tip to tip technique.

If you are following the hop you would have arrived here from the very talented Juana Ambida and her inspiring project! If not you can follow the hop loop by clicking the "Next" banner below or you can start at the top by clicking the Stamp Review Crew link or banner above.

Just Add Ink #371...Choose two!

Happy Friday friends!

Over at Just Add Ink  this week Di has challenged us to choose two of the elements above on our projects. I have opted for "Kids & Patterned Paper" using "The Little One" stamp set and some retired Blushing Bride dsp.
The colours are a combination of Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink, Smoky slate & Whisper white. I really enjoyed creating with this set, as l find the small details and images are super cute to fussy cut and the little triangle, crosses and dash stamps are perfect for adding the extra details to a project.

Don't forget to pop over to challenge blog and check out the rest of the design teams fabulous inspiration.
