Just Add Ink #513...Choose Two!

Good Morning friends!

Our challenge this week over at Just Add Ink  was suggested by Di and she would like us to add 2 of the above elements to our projects!
Choose two challenges are always fun, as there are so many combinations for us to work with.

For my project this week, l have chosen to add Flowers & Texture! Using another new set "So Much Love" and combining it with some pretty DSP from the "Flowers For Every Season" pack and colouring my bloom with Mango Melody blends and adding texture with one of the Greenery embossing folders.

The rest of the design team have created some fabulous projects, so make sure you click on the link above and pop over to our challenge site for loads of inspiration.

Stamp Review Crew...Timeless Tropical!

Aloha!

The Stamp Review Crew are hopping and we are sharing lots of gorgeous projects featuring the "Timeless Tropical" bundle...I love the images in this set and being a fan of all things tropical and missing the sunshine, l really enjoyed revisiting this set.
I have combined it with the lovely new "Drybrush" background stamp in Coastal Cabana, stamped the images and added coloring details using Stampin Blends and some gold glimmer for a hint of sparkle.

If you are following the hop, you would have arrived here from the talented Heidi Baks but if not, you can continue on your way by clicking on the link/next banner below or click the link above to be redirected to the SRC blog, where you can find the full list of participating crew!

Now you are off to be inspired by Mary Hougen and l'm sure she has something fabulous to share.

Just Add Ink #512...Sketch!

Good Morning!

We have a fun new sketch challenge from Tina happening over at Just Add Ink  and the design team have created a fabulous gallery of inspiration to give you loads of ideas, so make sure you click on the link for a look at those.

For my project this week, l have created a fun animal birthday card for my youngest little man who is turning 6 tomorrow.
I couldn't resist inking up the super cute image from the brand new "From all of us" stamp set using the sketch as my starting point. The image has been coloured with Stampin Blends in Cinnamon Cider-Granny Apple Green-Old Olive-Crumbcake-Smoky Slate-Bermuda Bay-Mango Melody-Soft Suede & Ivory/Bronze.

Just Add Ink #511...Inspiration!

Happy Friday friends!
Its Just Add Ink challenge time and this week Rachael has given us this beautiful inspiration to create with!

I have used the "Jar of Flowers" bundle once again (still a little obsessed) and created a warm toned, jar of blooms inspired by the inspiration pic and one of my daughters candles from her Frankie Gusti brand candle business, with artwork from the fabulous Georgie Wilson.

I have used Cinnamon Cider for the jar and coloured my blooms in Petal Pink-Mango Melody-Cajun Craze-Mint Macaron & Mossy Meadow using Stampin Blends.
The embossed panel is the mini Greenery embossing folder and l've added some of the pretty new In-Colour enamel dots to finish off.

Colour INKspiration #80

Happy Wednesday everyone!

The Colour INKspiration team have a pretty new colour combination to share! I love these pretty pastels and thought they would work well with the new "Hand Drawn Blooms" stamp....So pretty and delicate!
I had lots of fun colouring with my Stampin Blends and then added some sparkly details using an old glitter pen l have had for years.

I fussy cut the image and popped it up on a panel of another new pretty, the "Tasteful Textures" embossing folder, edged with some of the lace detail from one of the "Ornate Layers" dies.

If you would like to see the gorgeous inspiration from the team, you can click on the link above to be redirected to the Facebook page, where you can request to join and even play along if you desire!

Just Add Ink #510...Fancy Folds!

Happy Friday Friends!

Our Just Add Ink challenge this week was suggested by Jo and she has challenged us to add a fancy fold to our projects!

I have gone with a simple one using the "Forever Greenery" products to create a double opening fold. My Perfect Peacock card base is a standard size and l have removed approx half of the front panel.

I then created a smaller card 3.1/4"x 3.1/4" in Whisper White, flipped it to face the opposite direction of my main card (so they interlock) and layered two panels in Smoky Slate & Pool Party beneath the back of the card and a layer of Smoky Slate beneath the front panel.

I have added some of the gorgeous Forever Greenery dsp, some stamped/diecut elements and popped those up on one of the stunning new gold hoops & added some of the gold gems to finish it off.

Lots of fabulous folds from the team, so make sure you pop over for a peek at those creative and fun projects!

Stamp Review Crew...Daisy Lane!

 Stamp Review crew

Good Morning!

The Stamp Review Crew are hopping and we are sharing all things "Daisy Lane".

I just love the size of this daisy, as it allows for multiple layering on a card front without looking huge and cluttered.

If you are happily hopping, you would have arrived here from the blog of the lovely Linda Callahan and her fabulous project. But if not, you can click the "NEXT" link below to continue on your way around the hop or click the link or banner above to be redirected to the main SRC page and follow from there.

I have gone with Mossy Meadow & Cajun Craze as my colours and added some sweet lace detail using one of the Ornate Layers dies.

Next up is my lovely friend Kelly Kent I'm sure she will be sharing a wonderfully creative project!
