Just Add Ink #560...Colour!

Happy Friday Friends!

This weeks challenge over at Just Add Ink is all about colour!  Jo has come up with this unusual combination, but l have to say I Love It!
I would never have thought to combine these colours, but l really enjoyed inking up the 'Snailed It' images and colouring them with Stampin Blends!
For the Coastal Cabana, l used a somewhat dry old original and smoothed it out with the closest colour l had which was Pool Party.
I also couldn't resist using another "Picture This" diecut to display them on.

Lots of lovely inspiration from the design team, so don't forget to click the link and have a look at the projects they have shared.

Colour INKspiration...#102

Evening all!

It's Colour INKspiration time and the lovely Lou has provided this fun colour combination for us to create with. This challenge will run for 3 weeks, so if you feel inclined to join in, you have plenty of time and we would love to see what you come up with!

I enjoyed this colour palette so much, l created 2 projects combining older and new products.

For my first project, l have used the ever so cute "Count On Me" stamp set and combined it with some diecut foliage from the Quiet meadow dies, a sentiment from Artistically Inked and some of the pretty In colour gems.

For the background shading, l used the blending brushes and some Basic Grey ink on Smoky Slate and l couldn't resist popping this adorable little bear in overalls. I first saw the idea of adding overalls on our demonstrator group by Esther Collmar, they were a real "Wow" and the reason l moved this set to the top of my must have list.

Bear is coloured using Smoky Slate Stampin Blends and the hand drawn overalls are Polished Pink.

For my second card l have used the "From All Of Us" stamp set Coloured with Stampin Blends and fussy cut to to create individual images to pop around the "Picture This" diecut. I have added some white gel pen details and given the images a liberal coat of Wink of Stella pen.

Stamp Review Crew...Artistically Inked!

Good Morning everyone!

Stamp Review Crew are on the hop and for this one we are showcasing all things "Artistically Inked".

For my project, l have used the Isopryl (alcohol spray) & Stampin Blends technique on vellum with Gold accents using foil, gilded leaf and the gorgeous ephemera pack to create a pretty In Colour birthday card!
The colours l have used are Polished Pink-Evening Evergreen-Fresh Freesia in both blends and inkpads and l just love the effect of the blends and vellum.

If you are happily hopping, you would have arrived here from my lovely friend and fabulously creative Bronwyn Eastley and l'm sure she had something fabulous to share!
But if you've just landed here, you can follow the hop and see all of the wonderful crew projects by clicking the link above or "Next" banner below.
Stamp Review Crew are a wonderfully talented group of Stampin Up! demonstrators from across the globe that come together twice a month to share lots of fabulous ideas using Stampin Up! products.

Now you are off to be inspired by my talented friend Kelly Kent and l'm sure she will wow you with her project.

Just Add Ink #559...Choose Two!

Morning everyone!

This weeks fun choose two challenge over at Just Add Ink is from Di. She has suggested we choose two of the elements and add them to our projects.

I have gone with Stitching (Stitched Rectangle dies) and paper strips (Tidings of Christmas dsp) to create a festive project for this weeks challenge...Clean and simple and a start on my Christmas cards! I've also added some silver foil as one of the strips and a pretty diecut star from the "Tidings & Trimmings" bundle, with a greeting from the retired Peace & Joy stamp set.

Lots of lovely projects from the team, you can see those by clicking on the link above.
