Just Add Ink #701...Inspiration!

Happy Friday Friends!

And that means a brand new challenge over at Just Add Ink and this one is all about inspiration!

I love an inspiration challenge, it allows me to use any of the colours or elements to inspire my project. On this one l have taken the colours- florals and hints of gold and teamed them with a brand new Stampin Up! bundle..."Layers of Beauty" and it is a beauty! 

I'm a sucker for any bundles containing masks and this one has 5 layering masks and is so simple to use...Love that it contains Stamps-Dies-Masks, it is such a quick way to create, but gives a real "WOW" when finished!

The colours l chose are Calypso Coral & Daffodil Delight for the flowers and Old Olive for the foliage. These were all applied to the black stamped image using the Stampin Up! blending brushes in varying strengths.

Sentiment was created with one from the set using versamark and White embossing powder...Not happy with the coverage, its old and l think time for some fresh powder.

Once l had coloured and diecut the image, l diecut a second in gold foil and cut through both at the same time, off setting them to create a fine gold frame effect.

Evening all!

It's Colour INKspiration challenge time and this week Jan has given us this beautiful colour combination to create with...It's perfect for a Mothers day project!

As it contains some of the gorgeous NEW In Colours from Stampin Up!, l couldn't resist pairing them with NEW products too!

Designer series paper, cardstock and Shimmer Gems are all from the 24/26 In Colours and the florals are from the Stippled Roses Bundle, layered up on some of the Nested Essential dies, with a hint of silver thread to finish.

The blooms are coloured using a combination of Peach Pie & Petal Pink Stampin Blends & foliage is the gorgeous Shy Shamrock.

Just Add Ink #700...Shimmer & Shine!

 

Good Morning friends!

We have a very special challenge over at Just Add Ink  this week. We are celebrating our "700th" challenge! 

What an amazing milestone to be celebrating and l'm am so grateful for being a part of this wonderful group of ladies, past & present, they really are a special group and l'm proud to have been on this design team from way back in March 2011!

Rochelle has challenged us to create a project adding "Shimmer & Shine". Having just received some of the gorgeous NEW Stampin Up! products from the 24-25 catalogue, the timing was perfect for sharing some new products on my sweet & simple notecard!

New products are...the gorgeous Unbounded Beauty suite, if you only purchase one thing, it must be this! I am absolutely in love with every product in this suite.

24-26 In Colours!......Be still my beating heart! 

They are my absolute favourite batch of In Colours for a very long time and l have used the 6x6 designer paper-Specialty Glimmer paper-Shimmer Gems-Inkpads on this one, for a quick to replicate notecard!
